Mixed results. A couple of months ago I tried the place and I was delighted with the fried rice and freshness of the other plates ordered. On our way home from Yesterday from Leesburg we wanted to stop by again, however it was something complete different. According to the door sign it close @ 9:00pm, we arrive @ 8:25 and asked to sit but the Lady was very rude to us, while at the same time asking to order only for carry out. I guess because it was 35 minutes before closing? Perhaps, thats the way the speak to customers? Like really? I was trying to understand the Menu but it seems you have to know their stuff, cause the lady was not helpfull in the ordering process. Look, whats wrong with some suggestions/options, HELLO!!!! Sell your stufff..Well, although the food was given to us in about 15 minutes, starting from the rice, it was nothing like the previous time and not done properly. Lo-Mein was OK and the Beef w/ Broccoli was more like Broccoli w/ Good Luck with the Beef! A star was taken because of the poor service and another star was taken because you should never sacrifice or rush taste because of closure. If so hate customer arriving from 30 minutes from closing then DONT ACCEPT ORDERS!!!! period. I would visit again, but hey, I will make sure would be during Lunch time.

Update 8/9/17: I place an order for my job and co workers here every week. Spending about $100 a month, and I always tip the driver good. I placed an order for myself around 4pm and the total came up to 14.98 and the man on the phone refused to deliver my order due to me not meeting the $15.00. minimum order, he refused over two pennies! Yet my job is no more than 17 seconds away from the restaurant! East Ocean has lost a regular customer(s) due to the negligence of two pennies. Food is good, but will not order again. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Older Review At first I was skeptical about ordering here as the price for the food what a little too pricey for the "Average Chinese Carryout". I eventually ended up giving it a try. I must say, the quality of the food is very high. It doesnt taste like the average "greasy" Chinese food. Its very clean and fresh tasting. For the price it is worth it as the food is very fresh and tasty. I now order Chinese from here time to time. 5 stars. I recommend the shrimp lo mein. Delecious.

This company has false advertisement they say they deliver up to 4 mile radius we checked on goggle maps prior to calling we were at 3.7 miles away and lady refused to deliver to us we had 10 people ordering $250 worth of food from them because reviews were so good on the food quality, so with that and a grain of salt they will not receive our dollars and they will have bad word of mouth to all that we can tell western prince William chatter will all know about this ... thanks again for loss customers way to have great public relations bye bye your loss!!! Weve gotten takeout from here dozens of times. Its the same Chinese food menu you would expect from any American-Chinese takeout restaurant, but they are very consistent, the food isnt ridiculously oily, and the food is very very good. I didnt care for the kung pao chicken, but the general tsos chicken or shrimp, the sesame chicken, fried rice (regular or thai basil), and their soups and egg rolls are fantastic. You can even get chicken wings with general tso sauce, which are awesome.

Delicious!! Ive been here twice for lunch, and the foods always out within 10-15 minutes. A great option for vegetarians and vegans. I highly recommend the hunan tofu and spring rolls, they are AMAZING. The staff is also very friendly. I cant wait to go back!

Good food, lots of take-out business. But the blaring TV running news ruined the eat-in atmosphere (which was relatively bare-bones anyway). I go out to eat to have a nice experience, not keep up on todays events. Its an easy fix...

The food is good here but I am tired of their attitude. Called in a soup order, they made an entree and blamed me instead of apologizing. There are many other places to take my business to and I will.

The food is terrific but the service is even better. I hadnt been to this restaurant for a month and the waitress remembered what I ordered last time so that made ordering simple.

Better Chinese than most places weve tried in the area. But thats unfortunately not saying much. Main courses are good, but wonton soup has a pathetic ratio of meat to wrapper.

Nothing but good things to say. Helpful on the phone and delicious food. A little pricy but worth it. I ordered at 7:06 and my food arrived at 7:25, hot and delish.

Had the Kung Pao Chicken.... mediocre at best. Very bland and didnt really taste like it should. The fried rice was average. Very expensive food for the quality.
