It really is Gourmet Cuisine. There are so many items youll want to try on the menu. You know before eating your first selection on your first visit that youll be destined to return many times to try several dishes. You might want to allow an extra 10 minutes to read the menu to make your first time choice just right. We went for brunch. My wife got the Chesapeake Benedict (crab), and I got the Bayou Benedict (chicken w/ chorizo and chopped shrimp gravy over polenta triangles with an extra egg. We were both very pleased as were the other 4 people at our table from out of state...so much so, there was a decision to make it a new tradition to meet there whenever we got together again. Some thought the waiter was young and inexperienced. The food is costly both dollar and calorie wise: Youll want to budget over $20 each for the above mentioned meals with tax and tip, and each will cost you about 1200-1500 calories. But, it was worth it.

This place used to be GREAT; however, Ive come several times and they are closed despite posted hours. Arrived tonight at 8:00 and they were packing the place up already. Got kind of an attitude when I asked if they were closing early or something ("[sigh] No we close at 9:00."). Bleach smell permeated the place because they were cleaning down everything. Im sorry, if youre open until 9:00, either post "last seating" hours or dont start cleaning until you are actually closed. Makes your patrons feel rushed and unwelcome otherwise. Food suffered as a result: they obviously had to restart grills because it took forever, toast was mushy, lettuce was... well, it shouldnt have been served. Waitress was polite enough, but spent most of her time cleaning. Yes, we all like getting off of work early, but if you keep treating guests like they are a commodity, then you wont have work to get off from.

Ive been going here since the beginning day-- the food has always been very, very good and never thought price was an issue because i know they purchase better products. Service has had trouble from time to time, but not for me. I have rented the entire facility for a large party and they treated all of us like we owned the place. They have had some management issues for awhile, but that seems to be totally fixed-- The bartenders are excellent and the service (for me) is always top notch. People who quickly review local businesses seem to be critical after one visit?, Why not try to give new businesses and chance to grow and be successful? -- to those who write bad reviews after 1 meal -- Have you ever owned or run a 6,000 sq foot restaurant? you might want to walk in their shoes before you make a negative comment after one meal you purchased on Groupon.... love it here

I had been to the location in Chantily once before and thought is was OK, and then I saw that they open up near my home in Gainesville. So I thought I would them another shot to prove their worth but since place has higher than average prices I was a little gun shy.Well when their was no wait on a Sunday were happy but it all went down hill after we sat down, the service was slow the food came out luke warm and the waitress was not on the ball to get the manager after we advised her of our displeasure . Once the manager arrived to the table he seemed as if he was doing us a favor to send the food back to re cook it to our satisfaction . Overall rating a d + a best save your money Dennys or I hop, although not as upscale puts them to shame . Save the money and the hassle. Tom S. from Gainesville

I and my 3 year daughter went for breakfast and after a 30 min. wait the food was delivered and my daughter said look daddy soup! The scrambled eggs were WAY under cooked; raw is the term. This was are second try the first the order was all wrong came out in pieces and that time over easy was hard cooked. NEVER AGAIN and we filed a report with the health dept. Forget about writing them I wrote them a received a standard email saying how sorry they were and that it would not happen again, well Mr. Mark Hanson General Manager of Mid-Atlantic Eateries of Gainesville, LLC like I stated in my email you need to have a drug policy because I think your on-duty manager Kirby is dazed and confused.

GOOD FOOD, BAD SERVICE Went there for lunch today during happy hour. Got a Appetizer for happy hour(half off) and ate it. Ordered a pasta and it was good. But the server was always not at our table and it was empty! PLUS when it was time to pay we asked what the full charge was for the appetizer (HAPPY HOUR??) and he said that it was only half off for people at the patio??? Well He should have told me that! He placed me somewhere anyway! Will go again but not ask for the short guy with dreadlocks.

What an evening... we were seated and forgotten. I ordered a wine and the Manager comes back and says they are out of white wine and was pushing red wine....Ok, but he didnt ask what I had already ordered that would be horrible with it. He said he thought he had maybe a glass of white left... but he never came back to tell me anything. The restaurant is pleasant enough and the food was good but the manager gave us the worst service of anyone in the restaurant. Have we lost customer service?

Even though we had a bit of a fiasco with the waiter and the bill, mix-ups etc, the general manager took care of the situation and comped our meal. So, I am happy to come back to a restaurant where I know I will get good customer service, if an issue arises. The resolution to me is more important than the actual problem. Food was very good too!! Nice atmosphere and location Ill be back!

Our group ordered huevos rancheros, pancake fruit stack, veggie crepes, garlic bread, chocolate crepe. Everyone loved their food. Although a little pricey, the restaurant is beautiful and the food is very good. Service was a little slow, but that is understandable considering the restaurant has been open less than a week.

I always enjoy eating here. For breakfast the Salmon Benedict is delicious. Another good one is the breakfast burrito. For lunch the lobster mac n cheese is excellent choice and a little spicy. You also cant go wrong with the steak and fries. They have some of the best blue cheese dressing I have tasted.

Food is always good. I use to love their hot chocolate, but they changed it - a little too chocolatey these days. Unfortunately there was an odor to the place (likely caused by mop water that needed changing). Other than that, it is one of the better places to get breakfast
