This was the worst experience Ive ever had. The food tasted like garbage and cost way too much for the canned food they put on the plate. The service is horrible on top of this. when my food arrived I took one bite and spit it out. The server wouldnt stop asking what would have made it better when I told her the price was too much and the quality was crap. She kept on saying I dont understand then got attitude with me and said theyve been doing it the same way for 30 years and that I was theyre first complaint. Dont go here unless you want to eat crap food for too much money and have horrible service. Also bring ear plugs because they keep the radio turned up on a pop/hip hop station which makes it feel more like a night club than a family Italian restaurant

Perhaps Im quite biased as my first job was as a Sals cook all the way back in ~2002-2005, but I can still attest that their food, especially their pizzas, are as good as ever. My familys personal favorite will always be a large, freshly sliced Italian sausage, grilled onion, and green pepper pizza with a cup of extra sauce on the side for dipping. This decades-old, family run business has always been able to cater to just about any taste, so even if youre not in the mood for pasta or pizza, I always liked a toasted ham, mozzarella, lettuce, and tomato sub with oil and vinegar dressing.

On our way home from camping we stopped at Sals. What a wonderful surprise. We were wanting a good pizza and not anything from a chain. SO GLAD WE STOPPED,meat lovers pizza was wonderful and the anchovies i asked for on the side were yum yum. The meatballs on our pizza were fab also. We will be stopping again on our thru Glouster. The staff was very helpful and friendly.Thank Sals for great food

The food is great as is the service and value. The only drawback is if youre a non smoker. Its a small restaurant and even though they divide the restaurant in half between smokers and non smokers, the ventilation is very bad so the smoke still engulfs the whole restaurant.

Great little family-owned italian place, and a local favorite. Interior atmosphere isnt stunning, but the service is fast and friendly and the food is tasty and inexpensive. Also has some of the best pizza in Virginia, though it can be a bit greasy. Highly recommended.

Walts was doing a fundraiser for a special needs child today. They were warning money for a little autistic girl named Bella Wells for a service dog. Kudos to them. The service was great, the food was good. Hopefully they came away with the money to help this child

Everything is OK... Nothing is exceptional, nothing is horrible, its just ok. The wait times after ordering can be a bit long, the atmosphere is lackluster and the prices are average for the area. The quality and selection of food is decent, but nothing special.

Sals is easily the best pizza in the area. The pizza is delicious, as a New Yorker that knows good pizza, Sals is the best Ive tasted outside of Brooklyn. The staff is always friendly too. If you are driving through the area I recommend you stop in at Sals.

Came in to eat ,my daughter & myself .The waitress that took my order was very nice .Went to get a dollar change the at the cash register the woman there had no personality to be up front .Pizza was good. But smiling and being happy goes a long way.

We love the pizza and pastas. Fast, friendly service and good prices. Takeout orders are always ready quickly too. I do agree with person who said it can get smokey in there, but thats the only negative thing I can say about the place.

The pizza is not that good. I tried Sals about a month ago and was disappointed about the quality of the pizza. I probably wont be eating at Sals again any time soon.. I wouldnt recommend Sals to anyone.
