I came for the breakfast. I was not disappointed . Very good food. The staff was very kind and friendly. My food arrived quickly and the waitress made sure my coffee cup was always topped off. I would choose eat here over IHOP. My only complaint is that the other half of the restaurant had an old timey smell. You know, like when you go to your grandmas house and you hope that your parents dont leave you there.

Good food, came quickly. Wait staff was kind and not overly chatty or too aloof. The atmosphere that another reviewer mentioned is likely due to the fact that there is no clear motif or theme. It has a bit of everything, food and décor wise. Dim lighting may also be a factor, but to me it gives it a homey feel.

Always great food, friendly staff (they are like your crazy aunt that you love), and it is affordable. The Warwick should be considered a historic landmark of Newport News for its tenure of serving the citizens, and always being a place you can go for a friendly chat with neighbors.

Awesome atmosphere! Great breakfast! My entire family loves to eat here. Deana, Rhonda, Diana and (Joanie?) are great ladies they will have you laughing the entire time your there. A real hometown feel. You have to try it for yourself!

I ordered, Eggs O Brian. Eggs were fine, but spinach was not fresh, couldnt taste the hollandaise sauce. The entire meal was bland. Was very disappointed. Pancake was yummy. Service was decent.

Homey feel. Some of the waitresses have been there for many years and know the customers by name. Recently renovated after a fire. The food is good, with homemade soups.
