Gave our name to hostess for wait list, and SPELLED my name for her. She apparently wrote it down nowhere near what it is so when manager came out and said a name, we didnt respond. When we never got called for a table we inquired and were told we were no longer on the wait list. I asked to speak to the manager who came out and told me she called out what was written down. When I pointed out it was no where near our name the hostess got belligerent and claimed I "saw what she wrote." I politely tried to tell her it might be a good idea to ask for spelling, or when someone spells it out like I did to pay attention, at which time she got very mouthy to me. I tried to explain to her that wasnt a real good response to a customer. Then we sat at our table and waited about ten minutes for our waiter. When our order finally came my pork chop was burned to a crisp on the outside and had to be sent back. If in town for a conference find a restaurant not attached to the hotel. This place is not worth the money and the staff is ill prepared and not trained to deal with the public. Its a shame I have to give it one star to write a review.

Awesome restaurant and great cuisine. I saw an earlier rating suggest that its a tad overpriced?.....no way, try finding delicious, perfectly plated food like this somewhere else at a cheaper price. Great place for a date. Pretty elegant restaurant but still provided great service to my family of 5 during the holiday. Kids menu is on par as well. The kids flatbread pizza was only $6 and beats the heck out of TGIFs or a chain restaurant, it fed my picky 3 & 4 year olds. The Nanas Fried Chicken was top notch and so were the sides that come with it. My wife ordered the pork chop and it was amazing as well. Everything was exquisite. Great food, great prices, friendly service. If you stay in the Embassy Suites and dont visit this restaurant during your stay, youre not doing yourself any favors.

The food was elegantly plated, but, for what it was, it felt overpriced. That said, it was a lovely booth, with a live rose on the table, and soft lighting, which gave the restaurant a very intimate feel. The food, while not the cheapest around, was plated well, and Delicious (with a capital D). I have to compliment the people in the back of the house for their style and attention to detail. I cant stress enough that the food is amazing, but you might balk at the bill, based on what you get. Still, Id highly recommend a date night here, if you have the money.

I love the Cyprus Grille, although I have only had the lunch buffet. The buffet is always great and today was no exception. The Nanas fried chicken is great, and the pork chops and macaroni and cheese were exquisite. For the modest price of ten dollars, you can expect a wonderful salad bar, hot food bar, and delectable desserts. The atmosphere is comfortable, and the staff makes sure you have a wonderful dining experience. Cyprus Grille is always my lunch choice.

As a true fan for shrimp and grits done correctly, I had one of THE BEST SHRIMP AND GRITS Entrée at Cyprus Grill. Its hidden inside Embassy Suites Hampton but its worth it! Every time I am in Hampton VA to visit my son at Langley AFB, I stop by for dinner.

At the Cyprus Grille today at 10:45pm. The bartender was horrible. He was inattentive & have my change to to someone else once I paid him . Wouldnt dare order food ! I would probably still waiting. I went to buffalo wild wings instead.

We ate dinner when we stayed at the embassy suite. The shrimp and grits were to die for . We are from Baltimore and when we have to go to Virginia Beach we always look forward to passing by for dinner.

Great restaurant that is underrated as it is hidden in a hotel, Embassy Suites. The food is very good... Shrimp & Grits and Nanas buttermilk chicken are amazing!

Love, love this place. Steak is grilled with perfection and seafood is fresh. Server "T" was amazing. Highly recommend the Bourbon Street steak.

On the menu was a pistachio crusted key lime cheesecake, that was served to me frozen. Horrible with a nasty marshmallow brulee on top.
