I have now visited The Brickyard three times with my family. All three times I have been very disappointed. First of all there has been no host, so upon entering, one feels stupid just standing there with nobody greeting you or saying a simple hello. Not once upon all three visits were we greeted upon entering. Then tonight was the topper. We entered, ungreeted, and my baby needed a diaper change. I entered the womens room to find no place to change her. I had to go outside on the grass to change her. While this was going on, my husband inquired as to where to park because of construction and while he moved the car and I changed my daughter, the booth that we were promised was given to another couple leaving us with only high tops to choose from. Of course, we couldnt sit there with a baby. The staff seemed unconcerned and unapologetic. I told my husband that every time we have come to The Brickyard it is a bad experience. I will never go back. Luckily, this bad experience led us to a great new restaurant downtown, The Federal Taproom. What a difference entirely.

A couple of friends and I went here after work on a weekday. We wanted to try out the barbeque food. When we arrived the place was only about one quarter full. I arrived about 15 minutes before the others and waited for them at the bar. During that time I didnt even see a wait person behind the bar. When he did arrive he was too preoccupied with doing bottle stocking to take care of the four or five new bar patrons. I wasnt even asked if I wanted to place a drink order before my friends arrived and we got a table. It took way too long for a waitress to finally arrive at our table. And even longer before she would come back to take our food order. After all that, the barbeque food was dry and tasteless. I could not even detect a hint of smokiness. The potions were somewhat large but the prices were overly high. Im not going back.

The sodas were terrible, badly mixed or something. The salads were pretty good. The ribs were not good and covered in fat. The broccoli tasted like it was frozen from the grocery store. The fries were extremely peppery, but would have been good if they were not all so soggy. The two turkey entrees were bad at best. they were just a mess of meat thrown on a block of wood (used as a plate). The cornbread had little to no taste. The menu that is online currently (both on their own website and other sites) is incorrect. We certainly will never be going back here.

Our family has been to the Brickyard on a number of occassions in the past year. We have children and we have taken them. Do NOT take children later in the evening (past 7pm) or on a game day, since the atmosphere is very different at those times and is very rowdy. Otherwise we have always had good dining experiences and good food. We have had poor service on one occassion, but not consistently. The food is kind of standard Sports Pub fare...nothing more and nothing less. Overall we really like this restaurant and keep going back.

Full of the worst idiots and Jersey Shore-wannabes. The food is terrible and over-priced. Although the serving staff is friendly, they cant keep up with the orders and frequently get orders wrong. Loud, crowded and just not a fun place. Even if youre there just to watch a game, you wont be able to pay attention over the drunken screaming and antics of the idiots around you. Its a shame, because its a lovely space and really a nice layout - with some classy management, it could really be a quality establishment.

Soooo, we were two of five of the only people in the restaurant aside from the bartenders friends. Friends who seemed like they were having a make shift baby shower for the bartenders girlfriend. Very odd. BBQ was very dry. Ribs were stuck to the bones. Seems like they smoked the hell out off the meat but couldnt trap the moisture. Sauces also werent very good. Waitress was friendly but forgot she was our server most of the time. Overall, it was a pleasant experience for the bartender and his friends. Cheers!

Incredible bbq! We tried all the meats and each was delicious. Turkey, beef, pork sausage, it was the 2nd best bbq I have ever had. The waitress was so sweet and prompt with everything. My favorite sauce was their Carolina red, but all 4 are worth trying to bring out some interesting flavor that you dont get with just the plain meat. The baked beans were cold and tasted like there was too much ketchup or sugar?the mac and cheese is mild and a nice compliment to the spicy sauces.

I really want to like this place. Everytime I go I experience poor service. Either understaffed or they just dont care. Can not get drink service in an empty bar which is why maybe its always empty. With so many options downtown you think the staff would be more invested in service. Katherine is the most aloof and non present bartender their how people dont complain about lack of attentive bar service is beyond me and I hat to call out by name but thats how bad it is.

The atmosphere is nice, its an old-industrial/warehouse building thats been renovated. The menu selection is decent, although they STOPPED serving cornbread. :( The meat choices are decent. The meat came out on a try and was a little dry. The sauce choices are good, the Carolina red was my favorite. All in all, decent place for a quick bite. The three is because the waitress/bartender provided less than good service.

I dont know why everyone is giving this place such a bad reviews. I got the brisket and my wife got a sandwich. Bbq sauce was ok, but the meat itself was fantastic. And the fried pickles were delicious. Even the sweet tea won my wifes approval (shes from Georgia). Prices were reasonable and our server was extremely friendly and helpful. Dont sit in the bar area and youll be fine. Very nice ambiance and not too loud.

Went 4pm mid-week from out of town. Sat on the dining room side. Best nachos Ive ever had. Buffalo with Whiz. Meals were tasty and well-priced. Atmosphere was warehouse sports bar, which is supposed to look somewhat run down. Waitress was very friendly. Host was getting ready as we arrived and was very friendly. Dress code is posted at door to remove certain elements. Were going back this week for a second dinner.

The brickyard has very good food during the day. At around 9:30 on a Friday and Saturday it turns into what locals call it "The Dickyard". On the weekend at night I turns into a "dance club" and Im using the phrase loosely. Every guy in the area goes after the freshly 21 year old girls from F&M or millersville that call that place their home. Other then that the food is great and the people well they try.

I think their food during the day is pretty good and the bar at night can be fun. Their food used to be way better than it has been recently and their prices seem to keep going up. Overall though it is really good BBQ for the money. This is a great place to watch a game and have a beer. The bar at night is certainly fun if youre into the heavier crowds.
