Very displeased and overall very aggravated with the whole experience. Having a reservation for 7pm and arriving at 7pm then waiting for ten minutes for the table to be cleaned and prepared was a little ridiculous. From then having two couples come in and getting seated and waited before myself and my total party of three. Then the waitress knocked over small objects on our table then to not telling us her name at any point in the dinner. The couple next to us was then given theyre food twenty minutes before ourselfs after coming in almost an hour after myself and my party. Then to having undercooked sweet potatoes and barely warm rockfish. We sat a total of one hour and fifty three minutes almost a two hour period in which should have only taken an hour an fifteenat most. As a repeat customer with only poor experiences I can blatantly say I nor anyone I personally associate with will never be back to this establishment. I do not recommend it too anyone for any occasion.

We had dinner there and were very disappointed. Various entrees in our group came out cold, overdone, etc and waited over an hour for them. Which was disappointing especially for the price. Our server Margaret was far from pleasant very abrupt. When placing orders she rudely said, so you want me to go backwards. To which we replied no, go in whatever order works for you. (Start with the person who is not ready.) She reached over everyone instead of walking around the table to serve people. Was very perturbed when asked to split the check. Then the hostess and server couldnt close the checks, seemed to be having a hard time making the change. Needless to say none of the 8 of us will be returning soon.

My sister & I took my father to Mountain Branch for his birthday and were thoroughly pleased by the meal & experience. The food was excellent and served in perfect portions (not overwhelming amounts) and the wait staff was very attentive & friendly. My sister and I had the crab cakes with wonderfully-prepared, garden-fresh green beans and cream of crab soup (very rich!) while my father had a filet mignon that he described as one of the best hes enjoyed in a long time. For the quality of the food & atmosphere the prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.

Ive always been very satisfied with my meals at Mountain Branch, but the revised recipe for their crab cakes really kicked them up a notch. Light and creamy, not pasty, with huge lumps of crabmeat, they are to die for! Hubby ordered those and I ordered the filet (also outstanding) and we shared. Well definitely be doing that, again!!

I I enjoyed the pretty view from looking out the window while I had brunch there this early afternoon. Its gotten to be rather on the crowded side but there was seating available. I also enjoyed the French toast while I was there that was rather good.

A great atmosphere with great drinks, but a small menu with a few very niche meals. Overall I recommend this place, but you could do better to please a larger pallette of taste buds at a different establishment.
