My family and I came here for lunch. Things started out great our server was very friendly. Since they do not have a kids menu our server suggested barbeque chicken and put their order in ahead of ours. The chicken came out and I cut into it to split between the kids and the chicken was raw and bloody. We told our server and he took it back. Then he came back with the same plate it was on with the rest of the fries along with the fork I used to cut into the chicken that was raw...um what the heck? We were not the only table who sent the chicken back. After a little bit he bought out the chicken and there were other cuts in it besides the one I made. Who knows if it was actually the one we had sent back. My husband told our server they were not going to eat it and he copped an attitude saying fine Ill eat it. Im thinking is this real life right now?! My husband also got a silo burger which he wanted a little past medium and our server said we cook our stuff perfectly so we will make it medium well OK fine, it came out weller then well. We didnt say anything about it because of what happened with the chicken. We did ask our server when the bill came if he was going to have to pay for it even though he had an attitude we still didnt want him to have to pay for it and again he told us no he was going to eat it. Thats just freaking weird and kind of gross lets be honest. I have been here before on multiple occasions sometimes its been great sometimes not the greatest, but this takes the cake. Im a pretty straight shooter if your good your good Ill make sure you know and if you suck Ill tell you. Well you sucked big time this time and I will not be returning ever again. I would give them negative stars if I could. I

Thought Id try this place out and I was disappointed. Went there with my cousin and we had the worst host/waiter ever. The food was ok but the service was terrible. My cousin ordered a cup of crab soup which tasted like potato soup with lots of pepper. She didnt eat it and the waiter asked her why and it was obviously that she just didnt like it. He was very rude about the fact that she didnt eat it. He also charged her for a crock of soup instead of a cup. He ended up giving us attitude and arguing that he always repeats what people order. He repeated everything but the cup by simply saying "sure" when we ordered instead of changing it on the paper for the kitchen. He also would check on us but rushed as if he was too busy. Its expected to be loud because theres a bar in there; though it was too loud because every time the waiter came by or my cousin was talking we had lean in to hear anything! I usually try restaurants twice before I make up my mind. The service made me very angry and almost wanted to throw the plates of food at him. In the end,he took the soup off the check and all we wanted was to be charged for what we ordered. If he had just changed the stupid check( or written the correct order down) to what was actually ordered and didnt ARGUE with the customer, the experience would have been a little less terrible.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. First off they brought my son raw chicken ok mistakes happen so I asked the server to make another one. Well a lady 2 tables away sent hers back also, than the server brings back both chickens at the same time and hands my son one chicken with cut marks in it now Im not sure if its the one we had or this ladys. I tell the server and he gets pissed tells me fine than I will just eat it. Well guess what Im not big on sending things back but raw chicken cant be eaten plus how the heck can you take raw chicken that has been cut open and bleeds on the plate and go cook it with somebody elses and than just expect me to believe you kept them separated. I can promise you I care about food safety and my familys safety and if you cared about yours you would never eat here unless they acknowledge that they have but staff thru proper food handling procedures to insure public safety. Either way I wont be back due to rudeness that was unacceptable no matter what because I was very nice about the whole situation.

I enjoy the atmosphere of this bar. Matt is an awesome bartender and very cordial every time we visit. The problem tonight Jan 21st 2017 Matt was not behind the bar. The service was poor. Usually the place is busy and I understand that but that excuse couldnt be used tonight, it was unusually slow. I saw other reviews of poor service, so maybe more people are catching on. Had to wait about 30 mins. for a second beer and then finally had to ask. Was not given silverware with our food. Its a shame because the food is delicious, but good service is extremely important in this business. I had bad service several times now.Tried to overlook it because I like the bar but tonight was enough of it.

Came here a couple weekends ago and got food poisoning. A friend contacted Station House to let them know, in case there was an issue they needed to fix so no one else would get sick. They basically said it wasnt possible that I had gotten sick there because I got food poisoning 4 hours after eating there, and it should have been 12 (anyone can look it up and see you can have food poisoning within 3 hours of eating the food). When I contacted them myself, they read my message and ignored it. Wont ever be going there again. Their service is also terrible as well.

Went there for the Monday Night wing special and the service was not good. From the host to server it was unacceptable. We were treated poorly throughout the visit. Host questioned us on why we showed up 15 minutes early for reservation. Had to wait very long for refills, and it took an hour to get chicken wings from the time we sat down. However, they still have some of the best wings in Lancaster, PA with a wide range of flavors / sauces. To conclude, this will be my last time visiting due to the poor customer service.

Always an excellent experience at Station House. Food is always excellent, great variety of beer, atmosphere is above average, and the staff is awesome! I recommend Station House to everyone who asks where to go. If youre a wing eater, this is also your place to go! In regards to the person that said about only watching their sports teams, Ive never had a problem kindly asking the bartender on duty to change one of the televisions to my team.

The food is OK. The wings and the house sauce are delicious. Burgers are ok but could use a bit less compression on the grill. The thing holding this place back really is the service. Every time I go here they are slow and unresponsive to the needs of the group. We keep going back because of the good lunch specials and normally we have more time on our hands to spare. If you are not in a rush visit this spot.
