I usually go to Hanami Sushi atleast 1 time a week which I drive 45 minutes to get there. They have the best sushi I have ever had and great prices. I have tried to find other sushi restaurants but none come close. I get the lunch special which comes with a salad and soup with 3 maki cuts of sushi 2 spicy crab with the big tuna pieces and 1 maki cut of spicy crab with real crabmeat. The restaurant is quiet and friendly (ZIN like) and they will make any sushi the way that you want it. I recommend all people looking for great sushi at great prices to go there.

In the last two years I have gone to at least 15 sushi places in Richmond. This place just does the best. The prices are great to average during lunch and average to a bit above average for dinner but it is worth every penny. It doesnt have the giant coy pond or water fall or Swords and everything hanging on the wall. Instead, they focus on getting the food right. You are not putting most of the money you pay for the meal into the rent and decor. You pay for fantastic sushi and phenomenal service.

The food was amazing! Theyre just having their soft opening so there was only one other table in the restaurant. All of our food was excellent. I had the Innsbrook box and the spicy tuna roll was THE best I have ever had. The shumai was amazing as well and the chicken teriyaki was so flavorful and tender. You have to try this place out. The prices were very reasonable as well and they have coupons through January for $5 off a dinner of $30 or more.

Highest quality sushi in the area with the best flavors, skillfully made, no gimmicks. Even the house-made soy sauce is remarkable which is a testament to their attention to flavor detail. I wish they delivered locally because Id spend more money there more often if I could just call when I was craving Hanami sushi. My favorite is the Power Roll, highly recommended.

It took forever for me and my fiancé to get our food then on top of that it was super quiet to the point where it was just me and her there. The food was not that good the teriyaki chicken overall it just did not seem worth the price to be a sushi place in a strip mall $62 three rolls of sushi and one entree. Two glasses of water

Easily the best sushi I have ever had (and I eat a lot of sushi). They have the best rice in town, the fish is always fresh, and they have an extensive menu. They have the kind of fantastic service that only a family-owned restaurant can provide and everything is fairly/competitively priced. I highly recommend Hanami sushi.

This is by far my favorite sushi restaurant. I have tried other restaurants that people proclaim to be the best, but Hunami remains firmly in the lead. It is a family run business, and I like that. Very nice family and I enjoy talking with them during our visits. Try them. They will not dissapoint!

Definitely some of the best Sushi I have eaten as of yet. I always get the Angel Roll and Spice Salmon. Absolutely delicious. The price is ok (that meal usually costs me about $26). They have great service, although it does take some time. But its definitely worth it!

Fantastic Sushi at a great price! This place cant be beat the sushi is the best Ive ever had, Spicy shrimp roll and Philly roll last time I went had me grinning from ear to ear, all for under 10 bucks!!! Me and my GF are definitely regulars from now on.

Took two hours for lunch. The service was incredibly slow. It took 45 minutes for soup and salad to come out. I would not recommend during lunch. The food is good but I had to reschedule my afternoon, just to eat some sushi.
