My list of grievances is not long, but Quiznos is a fast food place, so theres really not a lot to it. Fast food should be nothing if not reliable: I want what I ask for and in a relatively timely fashion. No more, no less. Maybe theyre out of meatballs, or their parmesan cheese has oregano in it, or the bread is kinda stale--all problems Ive had with Subway and Quiznos. I might get a little annoyed but Im not going to make a big deal about it. Its fast food. Im not expecting supreme quality. So, I dont really care that Quiznos ingredients are supposedly better than Subway--to be fair, Id be willing to believe that--but when it comes to fast food I care less about the quality of the food than I do the reliability of its service. In the case of this Quiznos, Id take pretty much any of the Subways Ive been to over this place. First off, this isnt a major problem, but I have to wonder why this place doesnt accept UMW students EagleOne card. This place is in Eagle Village, a shopping center pretty much joined at the hip with a university campus--its called "Eagle Village" because its basically FOR the University of Mary Washington, whose proud mascot is--you guessed it--an eagle. I asked one of the employees about it, and was told that the manager thought the machine required to process our EagleOne cards was too expensive. Now, Im no business or economics major, but I think that this particular Quiznos might have made up for that loss by making things a little more convenient for students. This brings me to the second, and what is to me the most infuriating thing about this Quiznos--its pretty much the reason Im taking time out of my day to write this unnecessarily lengthy diatribe. Its about that reliability I mentioned earlier. This evening I planned to go to this Quiznos for a quick bite before hitting the library, where I planned to stay this evening after a fifteen minute walk to find a handwritten sign saying "Closing at 8 pm today." Huh, I think to myself, I guess something came up, someone had a scheduling conflict, fine... then I check my watch: it was 7:45 pm. You have to honor your posted business hours. If you advertise that your business closes at 8:00 pm, you must keep your doors unlocked, the lights switched on, and you must accept customers right up until 8:00 pm. Actually, I can understand closing up, say, five minutes early. It might inconvenience one potential customer, but if youve got someplace to be, I get it... but I find this highly unlikely, because this wasnt the first time this has happened, or the second time, or even the third. Now, since Ive seen that the manager of this Quiznos has actually read and responded to some of these reviews, Ill start directly addressing them directly now: Dont bother responding with that pathetic "we can make this right" or "well make sure this never happens again" crap. Clearly, you cant, or wont. You dont seem to care. Maybe the reason that EagleOne card reader is too expensive is because youre losing so many customers. Ever think of that? In fact, one of those employees I got to know quit and got a better job BECAUSE they felt that you treated them unfairly. Do you know what happened when I read that sign, checked my watch and exclaimed in frustration? The manager of the Greens & Grains Cafe, right next door offered me a 20% discount. I never really considered eating there--Im not particularly fond of soups and salads--but this fine gentleman showed me the menu and pointed out that they have a nice selection of pastas and sandwiches as well. Whats more, they accept the EagleOne card. A competitor right next door to you has gained a loyal customer with their superior service and food, while your establishment has lost one. Judging from your reviews, Im probably not the first to be put off by your idiotic disregard for customer service, and I doubt Ill be the last.

I have been a patron of Quiznos for a very long time. Love their sandwiches. I used to have a Quiznos in my area. It since that closed I have been going to the one in Fredericksburg. I continue going back because when the manager of this Quiznos is there, I get a delicious sandwich. But, as I dont know the managers schedule, sometimes when I get there... while craving a turkey sandwich, he is not there but his seemingly only employee is there. This kid is AWFUL. His behavior is disgusting and the sandwiches he makes are ALWAYS wrong / inedible. Im not being overdramatic. He doesnt seem to want to be there, he gets pissy about doing small specifications to sandwiches, puts the bare amount of meat on the sandwich- I went there a couple weeks ago and he put exactly two pieces of turkey on the sandwich on different bread than I asked for and got pissy when I asked for extra mayonnaise. He mumbles under his breath at you, makes smart remarks about EASY sandwich specifications and just simply makes everyone miserable and good food-bad. I have talked to many pro who go in there and have seen the same behavior. I love Quiznos and I am not usually one to complain but I will NOT be coming back until I see he has either changed his attitude or is no longer working there. Its ridiculous.

8/16/16 I wish I could review the food but we didnt even get to try it. Listen to the other reviews. Got there at 10:00am. They didnt even open the door by 10:05. Instead the worker was in the back in workout clothes still prepping the store, ignoring us. I can imagine if this is how they start the day the service isnt going to be much better.

I just arrived at 630 and the lights were out. The lights were on in the back and I could see that someone was there. Pretty odd. The last time I was there, I saw a sign up that the store was closing early. Is this how a store works - no one comes, so well shut down early? Its a shame, as I saw several other people walk up to the door as well.

Dont go to this location if you value your money. The management skimps on whats actually supposed to be in your sub. Everything is heavily measured to make sure you dont get too many toppings. They are slow, and cheap. Save your money and eat elsewhere.

This is your typical Quiznos location. The service isnt any better or worse than what youd expect from any other location. Orders are completed and prepared fairly quickly and the ingredients generally taste good.

I work in the shopping center, and thats the only reason I eat here. The customer service is terrible. The food is mediocre. I would not recommend it for anything other than convenience.

The website says its open until 9 but the handwritten sign says it closed at 8pm today. I showed up at 7:40 and nobody was there. Wtf. Lost business forever.

Would rather have gone to Subway. The quality was lacking and the staff were rude.

Employees dont care at all about the customer or the business for that matter.
