Update to 2014. This restaurant has gone from 5 stars to 3 stars. Sometimes it is good, sometimes it isnt. I dont know if they hired a new cook or what, but it has been sliding downhill for the last 6 months. I love the shrimp and asparagus usually, but the past few times, the shrimp has been over done, the asparagus under done, and the dish too salty to even consume. =/ I had to send it back and didnt even get an apology or anything. The quality of ingredients (beef, etc.) appears to have gone down as well. I am so sad to be leaving this review...this used to be one of my favorite restaurants. Great Chinese food at a decent price! I loved their lettuce wraps, egg drop soup, and boneless spare ribs! My husband truly enjoyed his orange chicken as well. The crab ragoons were also delish! Delivery was super speedy and courteous. I highly recommend either visiting or trying delivery. YUMMY! =P

This is my usual lunch time Chinese spot. They offer a variety of entrees with a soup or eggroll and choice of rice for about $8.00 or less. Todays choice that I picked was general tso with fried rice and an eggroll. Eggroll was EXTREMELY greasy and appeared to be fried twice, maybe a quick fry to re-heat? I was NOT able to finish it, it was yucky!! My dish lacked flavor and was mushy. The portion size was large, but was almost tasteless, the rice was ok ( the rice was the best part, that is NOT saying much ) We have been ordering since they opened and in the last 18 months or so the food has continued to decline, for unknown reasons? I assume the chef has been changing, just like their order takers at the front desk, ALL new faces. Owners are the same, but the chef needs to be replaced!! SADLY, VERY DISAPPOINTED again with todays order!! ! I DO not recommend! :(

The WORST restaurant in Richmond (not just Chinese restaurant). My family has been a loyal customer for years. Over the last few months, the food and service has suffered. Tonight, they delivered our food without part of one of the meals. I called to have the situation resolved and they refused. I asked to speak with a manager and was told that she was "too busy" to speak with me. Can you imagine - too busy to talk to someone who has been a loyal customer for years?!? They do not care about their customers. They cut corners where they can. We will NOT go back and encourage you to do the same.

Eaten here twice with two other people. The atmosphere is amiable but that bubble is quickly burst by the deadpan waitresses that serve you your food. Food is literally pushed across the tablecloths, taking other food with it. A single egg roll lays across dried up cabbage? Serving sizes are not enough even for me! And the food is mediocre at best - you taste the old oil in all Ive sampled( I am a fit 120 gen Y female) The bathroom was clean...hence the two stars.

My wife put me on to this place when we moved in the area awhile ago. Its really good we love their lunch. Dinner was great too a little pricey, most places allow egg rolls to come with the dinner meal. Here you have to pay extra which can add up when buying for a family of 4. Weve had delivery before and its usually a young high school student and theyve always been friendly. Id recommend here not sure whats up with the bad reviews.

My son and I are from out of town and stopped here on a Monday night for dinner. We got served right away. Ting? Was our waitress and was speedy with our appetizer egg drop soup. So yummy, especially on this rainy night. We had the tea, whichever steeped while we are. Hmm. The entrees, General Tsos Chicken and Triple Delight were to die for! We loved every bite. If I lived in Richmond, Jade would be a weekly event. Thanks

This is the best Chinese food restaurant ever. I have eaten here many times. The employees (especially the ones at the front desk) are amazing and are very friendly. Highly recommend talking to them. The food is always good. I order a lot of different things and they are all very good. The lunch specials are awesome. Basically everything is amazing, Compliments to the chefs in the back! Always do a great job :)

I had the General Tsos Chicken and Shrimp, I really enjoyed it. My husband ordered the Triple Delight and also enjoyed it. The prices are normal for a sit down Chinese restaurant $10 to $15. The only turn off for me were the young ladies at the front counter wearing yoga pants and tank tops. The rest of the wait staff was very professional. Clean place with white tablecloths and cloth napkins.

The food is passable, but the service leaves something to be desired. I kindly asked the reception desk lady if they had a micro USB charger for my phone, but she just continued staring at her phone like a robot. When I asked again, she told me only Apple devices only. Eventually, the young guy with the beanie working there found a micro USB charger laying around on his way off of work.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!! The ONLY reason why I order their food is because its 7 minutes from my house! And every time it takes MORE THAN AN HOUR TO GET HERE! dont try talking to management they only want to argue and name call! NEVER EVER AGAIN. The food isnt worth it... Average at best! If I could give no stars I would.

Last night I ordered Sweet & Sour pork as a take out. It was not edible and when I called the next morning to ask for a credit we could use the next time we came to the restaurant I was told no because I didnt call last night. We will no longer be eating at this restaurant and I will tell all my friends to pick a new restaurant.

Pickup order so I didnt get the staff experience. the food is great. This is my new favorite Chinese near my house. A couple weeks after my posting above, we decided to eat here for lunch. the waitress was so NOT friendly. also the food was not very good at all. I am so disappointed. Not sure if Ill go for 2 out of 3.

Can i give ZERO stars please? Or 0.5 max. Worst Chinese food ever. Staff probably thinks everyone eats from their paycheck. Not just us, none of the tables were being served properly. Even though we went to try it, we left in 10 mins and of course we denied for the take-away boxes even though more than half was left.

This place sucks. There is a 5 mile radius to deliver food and they would not deliver to my house that is 4.6 miles away. These people are lazy and the food is undercooked and overpriced. NO ONE should buy food from this place, they dont deserve your money. You dont need to eat their terrible food either.

I am 95% sure that eating here gave me the absolute worst case of food poisoning. Also, the food that we ordered was mediocre anyways. The fried rice was rice only...no vegetables...very little flavor except grease. I hate to leave a negative review but my experience altogether was not good.
