Its the broth that really matters in Chinese noodle soup. I ordered a beef belly and tendon noodle soup for $12 which according to some friends is supposedly to be the best choice but what i can taste is soy sauce with water in the broth. But noodle and beef itself can be considered good in America. This noodle was marked as spicy, but didnt taste like spicy at all to my personal standard. Good thing is that the service is good and you can go ask for extra chilli. And most important thing is that the environment is clean. So if you are not too picky its a good place to go for Americanized Chinese noodle.

Honestly, the DC area is not known for good Chinese food. Hunan Gourmet has about the best tasting Chinese in the area. Aside from the normal Americanized offerings they also offer some more unique and authentic dishes. Its in Fair Oaks mall so dont expect great decor. They deliver so if you live near by this is the way to go.

This has to be my favorite Chinese restaurant by far. Their Orange Chicken is delicius with tons of flavor and spice and the staff keep the place cheery and spotless. Every time Ive been here, there have been people lined outside. I love this place!

Came here with no real expectation, but rice was terrible (boiled in a bag?), egg rolls were the size of a q-tip, chicken entres clearly tasted like they were from a frozen box. Way too expensive for crappy meal.

I always love the food here. My family is American, so we usually order the classic fried rice, lo mein, orange chicken, etc. We are always happy and love coming on a Sunday for lunch.

Skip the stir fry, order the soup. The soup is what they are known for, just look at, the locals and each have a huge bowl.

It was disgusting. Food had no flavor. Sesame chicken sauce was watery. And teriyaki had no flavor of sauce at all.
