Waited 2 hours for food they originally said would be here in "a couple minutes". They offered me 10% off. They claimed that they thought the order was for pick up. We talked to them 5 times over the course over the hour before our food arrived. Each time, they told us a delivery person had already left and our food would be there within 5 minutes. The restaurant is 10 minutes away and we spent over an hour waiting after they claimed the delivery person had left. Not only do they have terrible service, they lied about it. I would certainly not recommend buying anything here.

This place is still fantastic! Ive since moved away to NYC but when visiting friends we had dinner here and Moon Star still delivers on authentic Chinese cuisine. The food is slightly more northern in style (most Chinese restaurants in New York are Southern) and thats always nice. The service was great, though the "hot tea" comes in individual mugs instead of a more standard pot for the table. And the price is also fantastic, especially when compared with similar food in NYC.

*BEWARE: KITCHEN COOKS WITH MSG. Food was tasty, but made my girlfriend and I insanely sick. I got sharp stomach pains and she got a migraine for the rest of the night that made us seriously consider going to the hospital. Both reactions are symptomatic of consuming MSG so I called them the next day to ask if they use it, and was told that they DO, its a little bit, and that customers have to request no MSG when they order! I was then abruptly hung up on.

They offer both American Chinese food and Traditional Chinese food. You can order General Tsos, pork stomach and bubble tea or whatever combination your heart desires. A great place to get Chinese food with your Chinese friends, who can point out all the really delicious stuff that you might not have ever ordered otherwise but will soon become a staple. Their portions are large and their prices very reasonable. The best deal for a lunch *anywhere.*

This place has benefited from the re-opening after the flood. This is easily the most authentic chinese food in the area. Halfway through the menu it flips upside down... If you flip menu over to read you have found the stone cold authentic chinese food right there. The kind of stuff you may need a little courage to eat. But the regular fair is nearly perfect. strong flavors and great portions. The hot and sour soup is great.

Best Chinese food in the area. Great wait staff. Reasonable prices. I just order from the main menu but they also serve real authentic (non-americanized) Chinese food that I have heard is really good. Also, 99% of the time their home it and sour soup is really really good. You can also order take out online really efficiently.

Fried dumplings were excellent. Egg rolls were very good. The meal itself was also very good. I had garlic chicken. My eldest had sweet and sour chicken which was one of the best she has had. My youngest had beef lomien which had a very nice flavor. The service was spot on and very attentive.

The food here is pretty good. I enjoy eating it. They do online ordering which is frankly awesome. I do wish they had detailed descriptions of what their food is. I would really appreciate a listing of ingredients!! I would definitely order here again!

Amongst the best Chinese food Ive ever had. Wonderful menu with lots of authentic choices not available on standard menus. Magnolian beef was delicious. Service was attentive and fast. Highly recommended!
