Overall a mostly nice experience last night, unfortunately we were interrupted several times during our dinner by a pushy Manager. My girlfriend and i both love Indian food and really wanted to love this place. We got carryout 2 weeks ago and really enjoyed it. We really liked the classy atmosphere; it feels comfortable and authentic (the background music was nice). The food was delicious, the naan bread great. Scallop tikka-masala (sp?) was excellent. Our waiter was very friendly, however there was some difficulty communicating (we tried to order shrimp tandoori-masala 4 times and received a shrimp tandoori. We ate it anyhow & it was quite tasty but not what we had ordered. My biggest complaint was the gentleman (Im guessing hes the manager or possibly owner) who kept coming to our table and invading our dining space. He leaned over the 2 of us and the table several times, interrupting our conversation, with no regard to boundaries. It was obnoxious and felt invasive. We were on a date and obviously part of that is youre connecting and enjoying each others presence. In my opinion any restaurant staff should be expected to recognise this (especially the manager). After the waiter set the sizzling hot shrimp tandoori on the table this other gentleman came behind the waiter and corrected the placement of the cast iron skillet, and slid it right in front of my girlfriend, which made us both uncomfortable as it was so hot it was popping and sizzling with hot oil. She actually had to slide it away, back to where the waiter had originally set it. The same guy walked up several other times, fixing things, rearranging things the waiter did unnecessarily. It felt obtrusive. As we were wrapping up our take home leftovers he came up again and literally took the naan bead out of our hands and started to take over. Had he been polite we may not have minded but he had a snide, smug attitude and was quite oblivious that his presence was invasive. We actually felt like we might not go back to dine in just because of this. The waiter however was very nice and polite. The food is great so we will probably get carryout next time around and for a dine-in night, well try the other Indian restaurant around the corner, to compare the service.

Food was alright, but the waiter kept hitting on my brothers wife. It was both funny and creepy to watch. Dude was pulling out ALL of his game but it was totally ineffective. Maybe its worked for him in the past but so Im not going to judge from that prospective but it just didnt come together for him that night. Not his fault though, this lady is just a class act and doesnt play those games. Better luck next time man!

Fabulous find in the small town of Culpeper. The dishes we ordered were very flavorful. The service was quick and personable. You must try a variety of the naan, we enjoyed both the garlic and basil naan.

This was the best Indian restaurant we have ever eaten in. The food all came out hot and in a timely manor. The flavors were amazing, Every bite had you wanting more, all the way do dessert.

The best Indian food Ive ever had! Loved the lunch buffet. Amazing lamb curry & chicken tikka masala! I cannot stop thinking about this place... Cant wait to go back.
