Awful. Food was fine. Not super special. But the service was HORENDOUS. Was rushed in and out due to closing for lunch. Was pushed to do buffer instead of menu due to time and the server literally tapped his watch about 5 times for us to see.etting us know also verbally to hurry because they would be closing soon. Sounds to bad to be true right? Well it is. As if that werent bad enough, our card was charged twice. That is a common mistake and I understand its a simple fix. So I called the next day to be spoken over, yelled at and asked to prove it with a receipt! As I tried explaining I didnt have two receipts or one receipt with the total twice because why would I have seen it charged twice and signed their copy and left, they said if I didnt have a receipt how could they believe me. As I tried explaining that it had been post twice in my online banking I was spoken over relestedly. I will have to call my bank to disputes I suppose. I would highly reccomend going somewhere else as the food was not even that great to be dealing with this level of unprofessionalism. Absolutely disgusted with how I was treated when they were the ones to make a mistake!!!!

Tandoori bites is my go to Indian restaurant! Feels like Im just at home when I walk through the doors. I would like to think that we are all family here. My favorite day to go is on Tuesday because it is Buffet day! Right when I sit down at my regular seat, I am welcomed by a server with some water (so thoughtful and quick). Immediately I walk to the buffet and grab a plate. I pile it high with the ever-changing range of delicacies! They have a grand variety and accommodate all, seeing as I am a vegan. After around trip number 4 through the buffet, I sit back and chat with my pals and enjoy my time, never feeling like a burden and being rushed. At the end of the day, $12 for a delicious buffet spread is definitely worth it! See you all at next #tandoorituesday ;)

Food was average, however behaviour of the employees were very rude, they charged 3yrs old child for buffet. When we asked they told us that they charge for buffet for any age. it was very first experience with an Indian resturant. They dont value the customers and customer feelings. Everytime we asked to fill our water glasses, more i would recommend not a good place for eat with a group of families. If they want to make money better they would have ask us before playing wrong game. We really desperate and we discontinue our conversation after seeing the response from person who attended. If you have enough money and need something to eat go to Tandoori bites otherwise better to leave that place there are good Indian resturants near to that place.

I am not going to say that they didnt do a nice renovation of an old fast food restaurant because that would be a lie. The food however from a chefs point of view was below my standards of Indian Cuisine. My girlfriend and I were disappointed with the food from the start and as we tried several more dishes we were almost ready to go. I have never had such runny, undeveloped flavors in Indian cuisine. It seems to me like they really rushed their dishes and in return the food tastes like it. We WONT be going back because there is a better Indian food restaurant less than a mile away. The chicken dishes were like digging through soup to find the occasional piece of chicken. I am only trying to keep you from wasting your cash.

Just popped over for the lunch buffet. Weve lived here for almost 2 years, and have been told by several people we needed to check them out, but you know how it goes. Anyway, on to the food, etc. We were seated right away, the ambiance is funky, traditional, and very chill. We were seated right away and drinks were waiting when we came back from the buffet. The food was amazing! Packed with flavor and a great variety, not just the "norm" I really liked the homemade cheese with the red curry sauce with vegetables, and chicken madras, how do they pack that much flavor in there? Plenty of naan bread. Staff was on top of it with drink refills and taking empty plates, very friendly. Well be back a lot more regularly!

I ate at Tandoori for lunch today. I was impressed. Today is a Thursday, so I didnt expect to see higher quality food as many Indian restaurants put out inferior selections during the week because they usually have lower prices than on the weekends. That was not the case. They offered all my favorite items, including pakoras and samosas. They also offered three desserts (Indian buffets rarely offer gulab jamun anymore, especially not during the week - but they did). Everything was fresh and delicious (I got there when they first opened). I have a group of favorite restaurants that I go on my trips to Wilmington. This one just got added to the group.

The food was delivered in a reasonable amount of time but the quality of it was disappointing. I got the Tandoori Mix Grill and literally got 2 small shrimp, 3 dry chicken breast nuggets, 2 lamb rolls/kebabs that had such a bad texture it was hard to eat. The rice was strangely under and over cooked. The naan and roti were rubbery and flavorless. The Lassi was good and the Gulab Jamun was good but onlyI got two pieces of it. Not worth it for the price. Perhaps its for a non-flavor loving demographic but it definitely wasnt for me or my family. Would not recommend if youve had authentic Indian food before. This will disappoint.

Tandoori Bites is most definitely my favorite spot for Indian food in Wilmington. The lunch buffet (for under 10 bucks!) is where I spend most of my time and Im never the only one in line. The specific options vary a bit but you always get a choice of rice, soup, bread, and appetizers to go along with different entrees in Masala, Curry, Saag, or other sauces. Theres always chicken and often lamb or shrimp but what I like the most is the fact that there are always plenty of vegetarian options. You cant go wrong the next time youre hungry for authentic and delicious Indian food in Wilmington.

When I think of tandoori bites I think of good times and good food. Never, not ONCE, has their buffet in particular disappointed me. I could go back and back and back (and I have :))! Seriously, I find myself staring at the color grey (proven to make you hungrier) just so I can take one more trip to that glorious buffet. A MUST try. Also, the staff is incredible and so polished, its like they know exactly what you want. Finally, the atmosphere is astonishing. I feel transported right back to a trip I took in my college days to India. They bring the flame with this restaurant.

My wife and I really enjoy this place. It was our introduction to Indian food and it has since become a favorite of ours. I probably couldnt name one thing from the menu accurately, but it is all delicious. It has good ambiance. Nicely decorated. The buffet from 11 to 2:30 is definitely worth a visit if you want to try a good assortment of what they offer. Weve visited another Indian restaurant in downtown Wilmington recently, but it has nothing on this place. If you like Indian food or want to give it a shot for the first time, make this your destination.
