This was recommended to me by a friend and I decided to try it. My advice to you is: If you know good Indian/Pakistani food, dont waste your time at this restaurant. I ordered chicken karahi boneless, which was okay, but not great - the chicken was a little dry and the gravy was nothing exceptional. I also ordered butter chicken. This was among the worst butter chicken preparations that I have ever eaten - and I have eaten many of them! First, the chicken was bright red, making it obvious that a lot of red food coloring had been used. Next, the chicken itself was stained red, indicating that it may have been re-used from an earlier tandoor chicken dish. But the worst part was that it tasted like ketchup! It was unbearably sweet and had a strong aroma of ketchup. Seriously, thats not worth $14. Or even $5. The food was served with some green liquid substance that was neither chutney nor raita - it was positively disgusting. The tandoori roti was freshly made, making it the only part of the meal worth eating. Please dont waste your time going to this place.

Tried this a couple of weeks ago - EXCELLENT food, reasonable prices. Ordered chicken tikka kabob roll with chickpea curry (on side), chicken tikka masala (medium), 1/4 charcoal chicken, and garlic naan. The chicken tikka masala ... WOW! Perfect! Its the way that chicken tikka masala should be. Chicken tikka masala at other restaurants is loaded with cream and is basically a cheap butter chicken curry. But here, its amazing - the curry base is perfect and the chicken pieces are very tasty. My mouth waters just thinking about it. I finally found it - after years of suffering at other Indian restaurants. Chicken tikka kabob roll was very tasty as well - cant wait to try other kabob rolls next time. Naans are HUGE, soft, and tasty - one naan will most likely satisfy two people. Cant wait to go back for more. I highly recommend this place ...

I have ate here on several occasions and think the food taste better than any other Indian PakistanI resturant in the area. they are also very nice people. unfortunately I took a good friend here a year ago and he was sick for 2 days... I figured his stomach wasnt used to the spices and chopped it up to an isolated experience. I ate there yesterday and I will never... ever... ever go back after how sick this food made me. I have an extremely strong stomach and have been eating here 2 to 4 times a month for years. the only explanations are sanitation or food quality and sanitary practices. I regret every good meal I ever ate there after this terrible experience. considering a report to the county to force an inspection. wish all here brave it after my advice not to the best of luck.

We checked out this place on our way back to NC from Washington. Very decent set up and the owner was very courteous and recommended Karahi and lamb seekh kabab....both the dishes were just amazing. Had such good Karahi Chicken after a really long time....The Seekh kabab was good but Karahi Chicken took the game away for me. The vegetarian combo was also very good, with choley and okra cooked to perfection. However the best part was the hot tea...just like how it is made @ home....enough to keep me awake driving almost 300 miles back to NC after a hearty meal. I take star away due to the portion size...and also because I am a perfectionist.... Keep up the good work

You get more than enough for 7.99. I went to eat chicken tikka kabab, which came out with rice, naan, salad, yogurt sauce, 2 side dishes (chickpeas and fried yogurt something). The food is average (at least for those dish). The peas and fried yogurt was a bit greasy and the naan was getting hardened when its cooling down (but definitely edible). But the service was great. The owner treated me very nicely, he didnt even take money for a small cup of soda I had later on. The restaurant is very clean. The service is great. The food is plenty (I only was about to finish 1/3rd) and the owner is friendly. Ill be coming here again.

We eat here (take out) about once a week. Personally, I love the Chicken Seekh Kabob. The Kabob platter meals will more than fill you up (main entree, generous portion of rice (basmati), mini salad, mint dressing, nan bread (awesome), chick peas (killer) and a vegetable which rotates around daily. Their prices recently went up a couple bucks on the platters so its slightly pricey - but really good food. The other guys here like the Chicken Tikka Kabob Roll and the Mediterranean Salad.

Hate to write bad reviews for businesses but this one is earned by this restaurant! This joint has no problem whatsoever serving you STALE food! Yes, totally stale food! They are so pathetic that they feel no shame in giving you sauce (green chutney) made purely of tap water! Again, we are talking about the main ingredient being water! How shameless can these people be??!! The biryani is always too salty and the rice old as crap! Do not recommend this place!

Worst experience ever. THEY ARE FAUL AND THEIVES. We place an order to this guy who was a thief. We ordered two dishes that he charged us for upfront. Then 10 minutes later this guy comes in saying the he sont have those dishes we ordered. So we ordered a different dish and he said he cant give it to us and started making suggestions about the dish we did not want and he wont give us refund. This guy basically robbed us for 50 buck.

Maybe I should have tried the chicken. I ordered the lamb chops and granted its hard to find a good grilled lamb chop this place was no better. The lamb did not have a good grilled taste. The rice is subpar, had the lamb tasted better it would be tolerable. The chickpeas were very flavorful and the naan I liked because it was well done. Abit crispy and I enjoyed that, otherwise for $20 not happy at all.

Amazing Indian Pakistani food this place is a location that most people dont look twice at food is phenomenal. I personally love the curry goat, a good buddy of mine loves butter chicken. When I lived in Northern Virginia I would go here weekly because it was that good even if it was out of the way for me. I just went back to visit family and friends up there and had to make a stop there to eat.

I had chicken Karahi with Garlic Naan and it was really good. The first bite hits you with so many different flavours that it doesnt gives a mixed first impression but as I continued I started liking it more with every other bite. This dish is pricy but the quantity and taste easily make up for it. I would definitely visit again to try out other items in the menu.
