Bad restaurant, bad experience I have been visiting this restaurant from past few of months and I strongly believe the quality of the food is degrading each day; I guess because of the business they are getting, they might have stopped worrying about quality of the food. At first I felt the food was delicious and after several To-Go’s, I thought of taking my family there for dinner and luckily my brother was in town with family.. so 4 of us with 2 kids went there for dinner.. Having entered the restaurant, we had to wait for several minutes to be greeted and seated. Finally we were greeted and we settled at a booth (the biggest booth they have got). After long 20 minutes and several hard hand gestures to attract someones attention just to place an order, I had to personally walk to the desk to get some help. Surprisingly people came after us ordered their food (couple of tables got their starters as well). Finally, head waiter (I guess that’s what he is based on his outfit) walked with me to the table to take the order. He is not even bothered that we waited for 20 minutes to get some attention and he mechanically taken the food order (as we don’t want to get any additional flavors on our food, we were quite). That was my first bad experience at this place and were lucky that food was not that bad. I thought people there were having a bad day and that’s why they didn’t treated us well.. so I was there again this Sunday for an afternoon weekend buffet with my family and I couldn’t believe what I witnessed.. we were there around 1.30 PM (they are supposed to have buffet from 11-3) but there was nothing left in any of the bowls and its taking them at least 30 minutes to refill any of the items. Here are the items they have 1. Chicken Biryani (I was there for an hour and I saw only one refill and people are literally waiting for it.. so gone in 5 mins) 2. Chicken Curry (I know its name because its labeled as so), 3. Goat Curry (with no pieces), 4. Chicken Tandoori (I wonder if anyone got any.. always empty), 5. Bowl full of Fish Fry (with nasty oil smell), 6. White Rice 7. Bendi Fry 8. Vankaya Curry 9. Nann (with refill at least 20 minutes interval) I think, the food and the service was so bad that I am not going to this place anymore; no food, no napkins (you have to go to front desk to get a napkin and you get only 2 per head; I think they are all from Dollar tree store based on their quality). They moved the mouth freshener to cashier’s table so that they can watch how much you are having :) I already forwarded this review to at least 50 Indian families nearby and I am sure they are forwarding it to all their contacts as well.. Oh.. forgot to mention, they even charged the kids meal to my just turned 4 year old son.. I am glad that my 1 year old was sleeping otherwise I might have ended up paying for him too.. Thanks, Vamsi Nutalapati

Chicken tiki masala was SO good. My one year old was literally sopping it up with his naan and devouring it. (Naan flat bread was also fantastic! Should have ordered more.) We went for an early dinner at 5pm, but realized once we got there that they didnt open for dinner until 5:30pm. Also, the signage on the front door didnt match up with the times posted here, or that they told me when I called to ask when they were open for dinner. Not too much of a problem, so we took a little drive, then came back. They sat us immediately, brought us all waters, and let us order when we were ready. They brought the food out as each dish was ready, which as a mom, I actually prefer! That way we can start feeding hungry babies, and each dish was super hot/fresh right when they brought it out. (Emphasis on HOT, make sure to check for temperature so you dont burn your mouth.) Samosas were spicier than other Indian restaurants Ive been to, so my kids didnt eat them as much as I thought they would. Also, out of the three dishes we had, all had some heat from spice, and two were "too spicy" for my 3 and 6 year old. Most of the dipping sauces they brought out were also "too spicy" for them. I was a little disappointed that they only have buffets at lunch on the weekends, but a great excuse to come back! I love the option of trying a little bit of everything to see what is your favorite, especially if introducing other people to Indian food (or kids). Wait staff was excellent and very friendly, talking to the baby etc., and I appreciated that they left a whole pitcher of ice water on the table so we could refill as we wanted. When it was empty, they promptly gave us a new one. Would definitely go back and hope we have the opportunity!

I am a semi-regular customer for the resturant, since I stay in chantilly and hence consider myself as a candidate for the review. My frequency of visit is twice a week. Food is perhaps nice, possibly in the higher caders of Indian restaurants in Chantilly. However, the service is the other way round, which brings them to a 2 starred rating. Below are the instances, 1. During the lunch buffet we arrived about 45 before the close , and could find no vegetarian entree, and they never refilled them, having asked twice (though they said they would) and eventually offered two complimentary kulfis in lieu. 2. Almost all the times the service is more like a service in 1990s. They wouldnt track who is asked for what and since how long has been one waiting on the table. 3. Almost all the times, again, the food is not as hot as its expected to be, it warm, nothing more. In summary, if you arent hungry and you dont care about the service, this is a place you shoud go. On a positive note, the food is nice.

Went for Sunday lunch buffet. 1. No taste in foods(both veg & non-veg) 2. Very very less options in buffet for $13 each. At this price, I may went to paradise Briyani pointe and I may get good options and little bit better taste. 3. Waiter service(even though buffet has very less need): Very Bad - When we sit in table, they kept glasses for water & water container and he left. So we need to fill water on ourself!!! - Before knowing we left or not, they took off our silver wares and napkins. And when we came back also, they didnt ask apologies or they didnt provide new ware as well. - No silver ware near plates area too.

Not sure why the other reviews are lower. My first time experience with this restaurant, I ordered a variety of dishes for carry out. I am exceptionally difficult to please because I am a cook myself. I have been to many Indian restaurants, and the food I had (paneer makhani, chola bhatura, naan, and daal) were all excellent. They all had authentic north indian quality and taste. The spice level was a bit high on the chola, but we really enjoyed it because it was so authentic. If you cant handle spicy food, you should request mild. I am not aware of the service inside the restaurant, but carry out was certainly great.
