Qdoba is THE STANDARD for a Mexican Grill style restaurant. From having the best Queso, fresh ingredients, and mouth watering cuts of meat to being the ONLY one to have steamed tortilla shells. However, Qdoba Mexican Grill at the Greenbrier Pkwy #160, Chesapeake location has apparently lowered their standards to save a buck or two. My experience overall was good. Fast service, fresh ingredients, polite staff; everything I have become accustomed to by going to this location and by going to Qdoba anywhere. Its what Qdoba stands for. However, when I went to enjoy my favorite burrito; which I drive 30 minutes to get to over the 3 minute drive it would take me to get to Moes Southwest Grill, or the 15 minute drive it would take me to get to Chipotle instead, my tortilla shell had seemed very different. After further examination. it appears that this location has taken liberty of changing their tortillas to a cheap pre-made circle of crap. What was used before was a fresh tasting, steamed, shell that just stayed chewy and delicious with every bite. This new shell hardened halfway through consumption even with the steam. The taste was awful just for the tortilla itself, however, it also changed the flavor of my entire burrito, everything tasted different and in a bad way. I did not enjoy my burrito at all because they had to ruin it with a cheap shell. I hope my Williamsburg Qdoba location does not drop their standards like this location has. I will gladly pay extra for my Guacamole again if you bring back the shells that customer come for. Will no longer be a customer at this location until this issue is resolved. Qdoba, and I say Qdoba not just Qdoba Chesapeake Location. Get your standards back. Because all it takes is one location to put a bad name onto the company. I have faith this will not become a trend and that it is only this location who feels the need to save a buck.

Aweful place to go for food. Everyone who was working there looked like they really just didnt care. Rice tasted burnt, chicken was rubbery, beans were just inexplicable in taste, peppers and onions tasted oily and like they had been sitting for a long time, no one greets you when you walk up, awful customer service and no pride in their job. I got chips and queso on the side and they tasted aweful. Almost like eating super burnt toast. I went back and asked for fresh chips and the "fresh" batch they gave me was even more burnt than the last bunch. The young lady even just said "here" and walked away from me when she gave them to me. No manager apology or customer service and the gentleman who looked like he was the manager had his backed turned and head down when I came to ask for fresh chips. I will never step foot into that Qdoba again and neither should you. The one star I gave is even being modest because they deserve a 0

What a disappointment. I was expecting more from this place and after the meal I felt like had eaten a low rent Chipotle. The selection was sparse and over all not a filling meal at all. I ordered the steak taco meal, they will let me mix and match by the way, with hard shells. There really werent a lot of condiment choices for filling those tacos compared to their contemporaries like Moes. I had them add cheese, some sort of hot salsa that wasnt hot at all, and guacamole. The food was ok I guess, but maybe leaning toward the bland side. Nothing had any zip and was all very neutral. The taco meal I had was 3 tacos BTW and really it left me wanting more. I think a 4th taco on this meal would would be an improvement. All in all, not real impressed at all here. Im going to go somewhere else next time I want some quick Mexican for lunch.

I have to say i love Qdoba food but i have to complain about the staff. every time i come in i am very friendly to the workers but they have no customer service skills. i walked in today and it was pretty dead, the guy making my food seem aggravated and not interested in his job. the young lady behind the register was sweet. I have experienced the staff moving too fast to where they are dumping things in my food that i did not ask for and when i say that is not what i asked for they become angry and toss the food away which is horrible. I advise that your staff get better attitudes for Christmas because this place is going down hill.

I had tried Qdoba at Greenbrier once before and loved how fresh my tacos were. But the last couple of experiences have been pretty bad, including a terrible catering experience. Lots of complaints about the food they brought, and considering the food wasn delivered when it was supposed to be, the food quality should have compensated. If the food does have flavor, its basically salt. Customer service is lacking. I was actually asked by coworkers not to use them again. Save yourself the time and go to: 1-Chipotle, 2-Moes, 3- Salsaritas, or just go to one of the many actual Mexican restaurants within the Greenbrier/Battlefield area.

I had one of their burritos. Was very yummy. Staff was friendly and efficient. This was the 2nd time I have been there and it was just as good as the 1st time. Wish they had a small and large burrito too choose from. I only give 5 stars on rare occasions. Would have rated it a 4.5 if it was available.

Qdoba is great. Their steak is extra flavorful and their queso is delicious. I knock 1 star off because this particular location only has a normal soda fountain; others have the Freestyle machine where you can full customize your drink.

Id say its equivalent to Chipotle but with free queso! This location (when i went) seemed to only have teenagers maybe 16 years old working here but the quality and service was as good as any other eatery around.

This place is way better than Moes and Chipotle which both seem to not know how to cook chicken (dry). I love Qdoba rewards mainly because I get free stuff and perks all the time.

I had the ground beef soft tacos, and I didnt like the beef seasoning too well or that the tortillas are served cold. It has a nice decor, and the service was very pleasant.

I really love this Qdoba but your new taco shells are HORRIBLE. Please go back to making them in the store instead ordering them premade. They taste like cardboard
