Wow! talk about a great local hangout; the place is well hidden and sits next to what appears to be a mortuary or the reserved parking spots might simply be a joke. Anyway went in there with my sisters fiance we sat at the bar and had 4 beers. They have directTV and multiple screens, their menu is simple (no chef) and priced right. The bartender served beer, took orders, and made the food. Large deck outside, but wouldnt recommend it for anyone who doesnt smoke at that appears to be the smoking area. I recommend this for those that want something simple, affordable and quite. So local I told my sisters fiance that if anyone asked we stole the car we were driving. BTW the picture shown on this site is not the Tavern, you have to drive into the back of this building to see the Tavern. LOL

Cool place where the locals of Stowe come to hang out. If you want food late night (after 10 pm) then come here. It might take a while when they are busy with the bar. They have two gaming tables, a jukebox, and outdoor patio where you can bring your drinks.

The atmosphere is super mellow. The food Is good for bar food and the have a boxing machine (730 beat that lol). What more do you need.
