Food: Good. Service: Painfully slow and poorly organized. Management: Oblivious and overwhelmed. Decor: Nice, new, and hopefully remains well kept. Atmosphere: Local bar Explanation: My girlfriend and I went here on a tuesday night to check it out and get dinner. Theres no host/hostess. We waited for about 5 mins then eventually just decided to sit. A father and son came in after us and experienced the same issue but opted to just leave instead. Once we did sit, a server came by and helped us out. There apparently was a paint nite event going on in the back room, which explains why our server frequently disappeared for about 15mins at a time. The bar had at most 10 people at it, but the owner/manager and the older blonde bartender were apparently too busy checking their phones and fighting to notice if we ever needed something since our server was absent most of the time. It took 45 minutes, 45 MINUTES, for them to get us 8 wings and a chicken caesar salad, which is absolutely insane. Our server would come by ask us if we needed something then forget to deliver it and instead bring drinks to the paint nite people. The bar staff never helped her nor was there any communication about the fact that we may need something. I asked 4 different people that work there for a to go box. First lady said shed get it, then 5 mins later still had not done anything. So I went to the back and found the blonde bartender there, asked her for it. She seemed angered at the request but at least made the effort. The owner/manager went in the kitchen at that point to yell at her for some reason, then he comes out with the box and acts like everything was fine. At no point did anyone ask us if the food was good, if service was good, the manager never once made a table touch or even thought to check in which is pretty much a basic standard in the service industry. I seriously expect this place to eventually be on bar rescue simply because management has no idea how to handle the job when it gets stressful, yells at staff in front of customers, and ignores how heavily over-poured the drinks are.

This place is a joke. We went for lunch. The food was decent but they seemed to have more managers than servers. One bartender for an overcrowded bar and also waiting on the tables. She tried but there was no way the service could be anything but awful with this stragity. Food came out very slowly as well.

Great food, Great People, Great Crowd. Yes, newer place may be a bit slower, but well on the way. This J/C guy who posted obviously has a personal issue. This is a Grille in the Ville review, not a Owners Kid review.
