I am a local ,I brought my family many many times... it is ugly how it can get , I ranked up few bills when my family is visiting since i dont fell like cooking. I appreciated it when it happened. But there was always something awakard. Tonight I found out why , and I will never bring my family and friends there again anymore. I have been paying my taxes in Jeffersonville for more than 12 years. I get myself involved in the community, and tonight the way I got treated was as low as , as if I would come from planet Mars. I put my order in, and supposedly it was not clear because of the way I speak. My order was not put in and I waited.... and waited. Then come to realize she ignored it.They obviously ignore me because that way I speak and believe me If i can hold a job for the state of Vermont I can hold on to a conversation. The waitress invented a story that the order was not clear since I have an accent. So if you come from anywhere else than Lamoille county ... do not go there ...again go where you will be appreciated. Do not go there!!!! They will make fun of you. The waitress did not make any effort to clarify what I wanted , and walked away. I called back to clarify the issue, and it was unhelpful. I treat people with respect and expect the same. Stay away from that place, they have no customer serivice skills, since they think they rule the world, They messed up , big time!

Village Tavern was delicious with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We went after hiking about 13 miles. We got a bunch of tasty food for a great price! The burgers were amazing a cooked to perfection! Thank you for the great meal!

Very friendly but horrible service. Charged us for an extra fountain beverage (ordered 2, charged for 3). Waitress disappeared, had to wait on drink & refills. Mac n cheese was amazing!

Always good food and good atmosphere, live music every Thursday. Only downfall...when its really busy be prepared to wait an hour for your food, more time for drinks!
