This is a long lasting family style bistro or bar & grill type of Restaurant thats been around since before I was born. I returned here 40+ years later a few times just to see what has changed since in the 1970,s & 1980,s my late Grandparents owned this when it was "Maddens Triangle Pub" & the home of the half pound burger which back then was the only place to stop on your way out to Riverhead, the Hamptons or Montauk. It was more desolate back then & has built up a bit since then. But it still has that same comfortable local family restaurant by day or local pub to go play some pool or darts with your pals. Im just happy to see this establishment still in business nothing majorly structurally has changed except cosmetics of course & the most important thing is that the food & the staff is very good. Friendly people makes the difference in any restaurant so Im happy to say that the Triangle Pub is an excellent place to go visit & I gladly give them a deserved 5 star rating

I went there a little while back. The food was horrible. The chicken fingers my brother ordered were burnt to a crisp. The hamburger i ordered was horrible, and now the worst meal ever was the filet mignon. It was the butt end of filet migon and dad could not even it eat it and then my mom ordered the chicken and ribs the chicken was supposed to be barbecued it was boiled and barbecue sauce thrown on it. Needless to say i didnt eat either. Do yourself a favor and dont go there.

After hearing so much about their burgers I decided to try them out for myself. While they do start at $5.50 for the small and $6.50 for the large, it quickly starts adding up with toppings. $0.75 for lettuce and tomatoes is just insulting, but if I was going to pay for that, might as well load it up, so I opted for bacon, pepperjack cheese, and their special marinated burger. Am I glad I did, it was the best $10 burger Ive ever had.

Alice and Big Russ here, weve been patrons for years. The service is great. We always feel welcome even on the busiest days or times. The food is delicious and fresh. Your appetizer menu is filled with yummy choices at great prices. I personally love the shrimp parm. The chef made it for me special the other day. We cant say enough about how we appreciate your pub. See you tomorrow as Im taking my dad for Fathers day. Alice

3 of us went there after reading about their famous burger. It was nasty to say the least. I was told they grind their meat daily after I complained about the gamey smell like it either sat around a long time or was so fresh that it smelled like a slaughter house. We are not fans; would not go back.

A couple of years ago my husband & I stumbled upon the Triangle Inn on a trip out east. We have since been back many times & have brought our children. Food is delicious, fresh, large portions & low prices. Highly recommend.

Great marinated burgers and buffalo wings! It was slow service and getting our food out because we heard that their was only one cook. But give him credit because he did a good job. Staff was also very friendly.

Cheapest and best food on LI! Wings and burgers are great! Bar is a bit lacking though (seriously what bar doesnt carry grey goose or belvedere?, poor draft selection)
