On April 5th, 2015, my brother took me out with a few friends to celebrate my 21st birthday. After spending an hour, we had an $81 bill. The drinks, which included Margaritas, were horrible. My brother and I are both bartenders and had to explain to the bartender how to mix the drinks. When we went to settle the bill, I gave the Bartender $51 cash and my brother handed over his credit card and told her to charge $40 ... for a total $91 ... $81 for the bill and $10 for the tip. The bartender verbally confirmed what we were doing ... $51 cash, $40 on the card, $10 tip. This was at about 2:30 am and since we had walked in with 5 other people, we were not drunk, having had only one drink each. Two weeks later, my brother reviewed his bank statement and found that the bartender charged his card $121 .. effectively pocketing the $51 cash plus a $40 tip from the card ( after taking the full $81 from his card) She gave herself a $91 cash tip ! We returned to the bar and spoke to their manager who refused to allow us to talk to the bartender or refund our money. We were sober .. how often do they do this to their drunk patrons who wont remember anything the next day. This is a service industry and we depend on out tips for income, but taking advantage of unwitting people is despicable. I will never return there and have put the word out to all of my industry friends ... Brick House Brewery stole our money and their manager backed them up ... I asked her to at least look at the security footage to see the cash exchange ... she disappeared into a back room, and never came out. Disgusted !!!

Havent been here in months because the last time we went, the waitress (who was in a tank top and flip flops) knew NOTHING on the menu. I asked if the sauerkraut on the Ruben was sweet. She said "no" but it was. Boyfriend asked for no honey mustard on his chicken sandwich and guess what was on it. Honey mustard. I literally took 2 bites of my sandwich and because it was "half eaten" she said the manager (who never came out to see us) said that I had to pay for the sandwich. Mind you, after someone else dropped the food off, we had to ask a busboy to find our server so we could tell her what was wrong. Hopefully she doesnt work there anymore. Edit: came back today (10/27) hoping things were good. Wings were dry (boyfriend ate them anyway). Shepards pie (which used to be my FAVORITE) was cold and tasted as if it was frozen and warned up (the veggies were too crisp to be in a Shepards pie). Sent it back and got a streetlight chicken sandwich (my second favorite) and it was as dry as the wings. What happened????? Edit #2 - James, tank top and flip flops was in the summer.

2014 new years eve, extremely packed and chaotic. I didnt get the bartenders name. Working main bar with dark hair and a tattoo on her arm. Nevertheless I was very frustrated at the crowded frenziness and the wait for drinks (I waited from about 2-3 mins b4 ball dropped to 10 mins afterwards). I never verbally announced my frustration because I understood what a hectic time it was, but one encounter with this bartender and I was not only taken care of but felt welcomed and invited. A strong personality trait and the ability to read ppl is what enabled her to do so, and the fact that she cared enough to exhibit these abilities and soften the situation is what turned my mood from frustrated to grateful. Brickhouse brewery should also be grateful, for knowing they employ someone who not only goes above and beyond, but more importantly is an outstanding person that shows genuine care for her guests and place of employment. And that is why my visit was 5 stars.

I wanted to give two stars, but one star is "Hated it" and I definitely hated it. The only thing reasonable about this place was service, but I suppose thats because we were at the bar. Still, she rushed us at the end. She also pushed the beer platter on us...We got to try ever beer. Honestly, the only one that was palatable was the Toasted Lager from Blue Point. All the of Brick House beers were terrible. Id rather have had keystone or coors. The nachos appetizer was terrible. Crappy store bought chips with some olives and tomatos and cheese on top, sour cream in a side bowl and the nastiest looking chilly. The beer battered shrimp was also not good. Never going back.

Beers are awesome most of the time. Occasionally they miss, but thats to be expected from s craft brewery that isnt afraid to experiment. Growlers are they easy to go if you are looking for good beer to drink at home. Food and service are always to notch. The music is about the only negative thing i can say about the place, but if you like paying a cover to see greatful dead wannabes, reggae, etc then youll enjoy it. Despite that, i still love this place.

I have been to this restaurant several times and the food has always been just mediocre. Unfortunately, this week when I was there I had an experience that will cause me never to return. I was given the wrong order. I returned the meal and asked for what I had ordered. About two minutes later, I was brought out the same incorrect meal. After my friends were done with their meals, I finally got brought the correct order.

Went there for a nice dinner with my husband they put us in the upstairs dinning room and we were forgotten about. Our food was dilvered out of order starting with our main meal then our salad and oh yeah they forgot we ordered an appetizer. If we didnt ask for the check we could have walked out of the restaurant without paying since the staff totally forgot about us. Never were offered a refill or if our meal was ok.

Bartender if you can call her that was horrible took 15 minutes to get a beer. Never asked if I wanted food had to ask for menu then took 25 minutes to order food. Bartender was too busy complaining about her other job to the customers next to me. Honey I am so sorry you have to work 3 hrs without a break. I would hate to see you work a real job. Never will I go back.
