Yesterday, I ate at the Rancheritos restaurant in Salt Lake/North Temple. Excellent food and great service! I ordered the 2 Crispy Burritos special. Prior to this experience, I had ordered from this Sandy 735 E 9400 S and it was horrible. Based upon my experience yesterday at the North Temple location, I decided to give the Sandy location another try. Once again, I had a horrible experience. I ordered the same exact menu item x 3 of the 2 crispy bean burritos as I did yesterday. The portions were smaller, it was cooked too long, the tortilla was soggy(not crispy) the beans seemed they were prepared differently and had a poor bland taste to them. Customer service was raunchy, the restaurant was dark and uninviting. I will never re-visit this Sandy Location and be sure to let all my friends know likewise, unless something new is done visibly with this location. I expect the same quality of food and service at all these restaurants. Needless to say Sandy is not delivering this.

I have been here twice and they struck out both times. The first time the woman at the counter tried charging me $12.00 for a vegetarian burrito when a steak burrito was $8.00. The next time, in the drive through, I explained three times what I wanted and the woman still asked me "Sooo, wa do you wan?" I wanted a bean and cheese burrito with tomatoes, onion and guacamole added. 4/24/17 UPDATE: I have had a bad experience at this particular restaurant, but I have been back since, just to be fair. The food is authentic and pretty decent and the workers seem to be doing their job to the best of their ability, but there is definitely a language barrier. If you speak Spanish, I am sure you would have a better experience than me. Customer service is certainly not one of the strong suits for this establishment, even at the other locations. In conclusion; Food good. Prices fair. Service, not so good.

The level of rudeness and disrespect I received yesterday was beyond anything Ive experienced with an operating reputable company. After messing up our order and putting ingredients we specifically asks to leave out (for allergy reasons) and finding a long, black, womans hair in one of our burritos they refused to replace either of them because a couple bites were taken. They told me they repeated my order 3 times and I agreed, which was simply untrue. They basically called me a liar about the now mixed in hair and after spending nearly 20$ here I left with nothing and was still hungry. This was the "boss" on shift that told me most of this. After dealing with this mess and hearing about a bone found in my aunts texano burrito the SAME day I will avoid this establishment and discourage friends and neighbors from eating at this sub par, horribly serviced restaurant.

I have visited this restaurant multiple times and have had Super Nachos from restaurants similar to this one dozens of times. On my visit last week, I ordered them, and prepared them the same way I do every time. After about 10-12 chips I started feeling like I needed to vomit, and then after a few minutes ran to the bathroom and threw up over and over. I was sick for the remainder of the day. My co-worker only at 1 chip and had an upset stomach for the remainder of the night. I accused the cook of serving me rotten or tainted food. He claimed the food was fresh. But only very rotten food, or some sort of chemical would do that. I have never thrown up like that in my life. I do not recommend this restaurant.

The staff straight up trolled my friend and I, we went about 9 to run by the drive-thru and no one answered me on the speaker, so we drive by the window part of it to find that no ones in the kitchen, yet the signs say open, and there were customers in the resturant. So we decided to come back in like 20 minutes When we come back we can see there are people in the kitchen before we get in line, so We go back to the speaker, and someone say "Hi how can I help you?" So I give him our order, and the other end went silent, and we couldnt get the person back, so we drove like 15 minutes to theIr location further west, and it was great

Breakfast Burritos are good, but my last few experiences with the cashier / people taking my order have been awful. Give me the wrong drink, wrong drink size. Fine - didnt say anything. Then it took 15 minutes sitting in drive through for one burrito. When I asked for one extra red salsa instead of a green she said thats an extra 25 cents. Get home and find my burrito to not be what I ordered, and two green salsas. Really disappointing service - and this is only one occasion. I wont be going back again.

I love Rancheritos, but I will not be eating at this location very often. I went through the drive-thru, and when I asked for extra salsa, I was told they were 25 cents each extra. So wait, you have a salsa bar inside where I can get as much salsa as I want, but if I ask for extra salsa at the drive-thru, I have to pay for it? Thats BS and poor customer service! No other Rancheritos Ive been to does that! Food was otherwise great as usual.

I have been to several rancheritos locations and this by far is the worse one I have been to. I love the food from this franchise but the food at this location was just not comparable to franchises in the area. The customer service needs a lot of help and attention, the least they can do is be courteous. Also, they charge you extra for more than two salsas, Ive never had this happen before. Last time we will visit this Rancheritos.

Id give a zero if I could, messed up the order accused me of ordering something I didnt order then ganged up on me with another employee stating it was two against one in what I order. Horrible customer service. Never go here unless you like disrespectful service. The food is bland and flavorless. F these guys, never going there again. Oh and it was the damn manager who was doing the accusing.

The guy that works the mornings now is a real piece of work. Gets the order wrong half the time. Then if you go through the drive through he will make you pay 25 cents for each hot sauce....but if you go in the lobby youre welcome to take as many as you want. Ive been going here for 10 years and I never had ANY issues until this a55 bag started working there

Ive only had three things there. The Carne Asada Fries, the Carne Asada Fries Burrito, and a breakfast burrito. The first two are fantastic and my wife and I love them! The breakfast burrito was okay. The staff is friendly, but if you go here expect to wait a bit for your food. If you want something that takes 30 seconds then go to McDonalds.
