My new favorite sandwich place. It just tasted fresher than your traditional Subway or Quiznos sandwiches. Its very similar to Jimmy Johns except a bit slower, and maybe that extra time had something to do with why it tasted so much better! The firehouse theme is pretty fun and several kids were giggling and commenting on the fire hydrant and other themed decor. It wasnt particularly busy when we arrived on a Friday night around 8pm, but Ive driven by several times during the day and it always seems to be busy (a good sign that they sell quality food!). They also didnt yell very loudly as some other reviewers complained about, but perhaps it was because it was near the end of the night and they werent as "gusto" about their work (understandably). And for those people that complain about them yelling, many other restaurants (Jimmy Johns, Cafe Rio) do similar annoying things. I suppose its supposed to add to the "fun" atmosphere and maybe thats a good thing for serious business meetings. I started at the top of the menu and ordered a #1 in a combo, the Hook and Ladder sub, which is Smoked turkey breast, Virginia honey ham, and melted Monterey Jack served on a wheat 8-inch sub. Wow. That was one of the best subs Ive ever had. They have a table full of available sauces to add to your sandwich, but Im not sure why you would want to change the flavors at all. The only cons - I wish they had more locations!

The Firehouse subs in Sandy is the absolute worst of the entire chain! Ive eaten a lot of different ones across the country, and the lady taking the order was rolling her eyes, visibly being very very rude! I asked for one sandwich to be made later (because I had to drop it off to someone else) when I finally was ready for it to be made the lady on the line grabbed a bag from on top of the toaster came over and gave it to me, it had been sitting there for about 10 minutes! When I asked her when it was made she very visibly irritated said "sometime soon." I will never go back there and I suggest no one else comes to the Sandy one either. I paid over $40 for all of my subs.

Its always the same disappointment every time i come here. Clearly no one here cares about what their supposed to do. Every time i come here its the exact same disappointment. The floors are always dirty, not a single clean table, every single drink is always empty and when you tell them about it they dont even care they just give some stupid crap excuse. And on top of all of this they cant even make anything right. The simplest or request for anything and they dont do it. I am extremely unhappy with this place i will not be coming here again. An absolutely horrible place to go for food and nothing is going to change about it cause the simply seem to not care at all!!!

I ordered online two 12" meatball subs and one of them I ordered with extra meatballs, which was a 4$ extra charge. Order was ready when I got there, I paid cash at pick up. When I got home and opened up the pachaging there was not extra meatballs, in fact there was only 3 per 6". The bill was $30. $30 is way to much for 2 meatball sandwiches. The problem I have is: for extra meatballs, they charge almost as much as a 6" meatball sandwich from subway & they didnt even give me what I paid for. I will probably never go to the Firehouse chain again. Its over priced. To expensive to not give ppl what they pay for.

I thought this place would be great because of all the good reviews. Unfortunately, it was not. The sandwich comes with a pickle which they placed on the tray. The bottom of my tray had pickle juice all over it which made the bottom of my sandwich soggy with pickle flavor. The sandwich came with herbs, which I do like but there was way to much on it. And they also squirted some sort of juice inside my toasted sub. Not what I expected for a $10 sub.

Ive always liked the sandwiches but this place needs some managerial help. Not a clean table in the place, the floors were more than dirty, the food was slower than usual, and our two sandwiches were not done right (I asked for wheat bread and got white and my wife asked for a turkey and cranberry and had to go back for the cranberry).good food, nonetheless. Be back to this location? Maybe. Just to give them a chance to improve.

Tried this place for the first time on a Saturday evening about 6, the guy taking our order charged us an extra 2.50 to make a kids meal a combo, they refunded it when pointed out their mistake. We waited 35 minutes to get the food, only 3 other people got food in that time, so it wasnt that they were super busy, just super slow. The food itself was good but the overall experience wasnt great

I didnt have a bad experience, but I wasnt wowed either. The staff seem to want to be any where but at work. The food was good and pretty quick to arrive at the table. The floors, tables and bathrooms needed some desperate attention. The Sandy location needs to take lessons from the midvale location. I am always wowed at the Midvale store and their energetic, fun staff.

Disappointing. I loved Firehouse when they first opened. Service has really gone downhill. This time service was very slow and indifferent. After waiting a while they still messed up the order, it wasnt worth trying again. I like the subs, but for what you get prices are far too high. I wont try the Sandy location again

I love Firehouse Subs. They have the best Beef Brisket Sandwich. I know they have other great sandwiches as well but I cant get myself to try them, YET! Love the place and would recommend it to anyone. The owner is a really cool guy he loves his restaurant and it shows. EAT AT FIREHOUSE SUBS. I do.

The food was really good! The service sucks! I stood there forever and nobody helped me. The store was filthy and I had to ask the employee for a lid and straw for my cup. The container where the lids were SUPPOSE to be was NASTY!!! There was hair in it. Not the cleanest place Ive eaten.

Good sandwiches for sure. My friend and I were the only two people there and service was a little slow, but there has been slower elsewhere. Staff was nice but seemed a little disorganized (they only had quarters in the cash register so they had to go to the back to exchange for bills).

After I ordered my sandwich I realized my baby really needed a diaper change. Apparently there are no baby changing facilities in this place. I asked an employee who said she didnt know if there was so I had to go change her in the car. Its January so it was freezing for my poor baby.

The subs are great, but their community service is fantastic! They donated a jaws of life to the Sandy Fire Department last year. It has been put to good use since then. Thank you, Firehouse for a great eating establishment, and your service to our community! Buy a pickle bucket!
