My first visit! What the hell do you put in the water? I would love to tell you the meal is the reason you hit a home run today, that would be a lie. In Sugarhouse I decided to give The Habit a try. Ordered a Tri-Tip sandwich....FANTASTIC. Just AMAZING. Juicy, tasty, fresh bread and toppings...just WOW. But thats half the story: this place (3/17 lunchtime) has a manager running the show that is the perfect combination between cheerleader/CEO/worker bee! Seriously. Hes expediting and ensuring the best quality of what makes it to the table, telling his cooks "amazing salad" they are great, and keeping the atmosphere light yet efficient. How does he do that? Please teach my managers this trick...or just let me steal him for my company. Doesnt stop there: where would he be without the "amazing salad" guy, a floor cleaner to bus tables and get refills with a big smile, and a cashier giving suggestions based on my tastes? The food was excellent enough to bring me back, the service/environment is enough to hook me for life. 10⭐️s

The Habit is incredible in so many ways. The grilled chicken...holy cow...is fabulous. Its like the chicken just came off the grill at a beach barbeque (nice escape from this dreadful SL winter). I usually get the Grilled Chicken Salad because I dont often eat beef, but have to admit, the burgers look tempting. Went with a friend yesterday who had the Veggie Burger, and she loved it. The service is efficient; the employees are friendly. Staff comes by tables regularly to clear tables. Every time Ive been there, the owner/manager, Tom, has been present and is actively involved with staff and customers. In talking with him, I can understand why things are run so well. This place has quickly become my "habit!"

Why eat here instead of In-N-Out or the other usual suspects? The Santa Barbara char burger. For just $5 you get double pattied goodness, surprisingly high quality tomatoes & other toppings, and what seems like a whole avocado on your burger. Sourdough bread replaces your traditional bun as well. It is a lot of food while still maintaining a fresh non-greasy feel. I found the fries to be average but satisfying. I showed up right before closing and the staff was really friendly. That impressed me enough to come back again. Also, this location is in a cool part of town which adds to the experience. Dont listen to the hype, have average expectations, and you will enjoy your meal here.

Tonight, March 21st my family and I ate at the Habit Burger for the first time. I absolutely LOVED it. The food was amazing and was served very prompt! The customer service was outstanding and,I believe his name was Robert, took very good care of my family. He would check in every once in a while and made sure we had what we needed. He was very friendly and had my husband laughing a couple of times. He even had my, normally shy Son, talking about different things. We will definitely be coming back to the Sugarhouse location! The food was amazing, the customer service was outstanding and the store was clean and so were the restrooms! Great job guys! 5 stars

Food is good. Service is awesome .... except .... twice now ... theyve screwed up to go orders. Forgot fries ..... and goofed up a burger order... yet still charged us full price. Weve called yet keep getting some answering service. Not good. They want us to call back at a later date to even get some sort of resolution. Seriously?! We cant even get our orders fixed on the same day?! Thats RIDICULOUS! Why cant we get a burger fixed or fries added several mins later?! TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!!

Quality burgers, good lemonade. Minus one star for always asking me if I want cheese on my burger. Seriously if I wanted cheese Id tell you. The food here is good though, and the price is very fair. Update! I was at this location again and an employee overheard my saying to my wife that my bun was a little burned but still good. The employee approached and asked if we wanted new burgers. When I refused she gave us vouchers for free burgers. Thats how business is done. Thanks Habit Burger!

One of my favorite burger joints. Getting the double char with sourdough and avocado is my favorite. The fries are thick and taste great. They have fry sauce available and sliced jalapenos available for free. It is usually pretty busy and finding a parking spot can be hard sometimes. Outdoor seating is nice when the weather permits. The food is consistently delicious and the staff is very nice. The price is average compared to other fast casual restaurants.

This is a great alternative to the traditional burger place. Better than your fast-food burgers yet not as expensive as gourmet burgers, The Habit sits squarely in the middle. Good food for a good price. My favorite was the shrimp burger, but I only had that one time and it was discontinued. Pity, it was delicious. My family loves sitting outside on the patio to eat. 4/5 Stars — Would shrimp burger again.

For a fast food burger place, this place is above and beyond! The toppings are so fresh, and I absolutely love the grilled onions that come on the burger. They also have a delicious house limeade that is a must try. Overall, it is clean, fresh, and great food for a low price. Lastly, they use buzzers to alert you that your food is ready, which is much nicer than yellig out your order number.

Today there was a misunderstanding with my order and the bags I took out, I was told that in the bag was a single char, so I delivered that to my wife for lunch, but it was my double char in that bag. I called the restaurant, and they were very kind, I went back to get another double Char and they handle the situation on a great way, Thanks José Carlos! Awesome job for all of your team!

Usually this place is good but I will not be making this burger joint a habit, not only was my burger stone cold, but tasted like it was made at noon and severed to me 7pm. The tomato and bacon tasted and looked like they had been sitting in the sun all day. This place used to have great burgers but now I feel I could have a better burger from a Wendys.

The Habit Burger has the best burger available at a "fast casual" restaurant. The double char is excellent. They also have a great selection of salads, tuna filets, and others. The service at this location has always been excellent, and on the rare occasion something isnt quite right theyve gone above and beyond to make it right.

Wow this hole in the wall burger place sure knows how to cook it up. Located on a side street in sugar house you can park on the side streets for better access. The food is certainly worth the visit. Fresh seafood sandwiches, burgers, they even have a coffee shake. I had to remove a star because my order was missing a sandwich.

Love the Habit Burger! Always hot and fresh. One of the best, if not the best, chain burgers out there! Value for the $ is amazing too! 7$ gets you a combo with fries and a drink. Love their fries and fry sauce. Havent explored the menu much. I always just get a Habit Burger with fries.
