I was invited to go out to have some phò. This is the place we came to. The place is small and interesting. So its a sandwich and Vietnamese food. Threw me off completely. Inside you have a counter you place your order and go have a seat. They have a water machine where you can get a glass of water. So seating isnt the best. There are a few huge tables with benches and a couple little tables. No real decor to speak of. Now Ive never had pho before. So I ordered the P6 I believe. It had ribeye, meatballs, brisket. So yummm!!! It was a beef broth with green and white onions, meat, rice noodles. On the side is fresh basil, sprouts, lime, fresh jalapeno. I do have to say although hearty I wasnt a big fan of the meat balls. Just between you and me I got the large... But dont tell. It was wonderful on a cold rainy turned snowy night!

Ive had a lot of Vietnamese food, and this place provides a great value, with delicious taste. Its sort of a fusion restaurant -- American, Vietnamese, and Thai. The interior is simple, but nice and new. Great staff with great service and a kind attitude. The Banh Mi (or bun mee as they call them here) are great -- Vietnamese version of a hoagie/sub sandwich. Crispy french style bread with fresh veggies, and your choice of filler (pork/tofu, etc). They also serve soups, salads, etc. Try this for a non-standard lunch or casual dinner.

This restaurant was able to make me comfortable and happy. When my card had a discrepancy in charges they were quick to make sure it was resolved. The staff is friendly and polite. THE BEST PART IS THE FOOD !!! By far the best sandwiches Ive had to date. Plus the prices are great. You need to try it when in SLC! A definite must!!! Ill be back for sure

This place is essentially transitioning into another location for Oh Mai. It used to have a different menu, but I believe its the same as other Oh Mai locations. Food is delicious, and quality is high, especially considering the price. Parking is also better than their other locations. As of right now, they close early so check the hours.

Oh Mai serves a variety of Vietnamese Bánh mì sandwiches. I shared the ribeye and pork belly sandwiches with a friend and both were excellent. The pork belly was a little rich so if youve never had a Bánh mì before opt for the ribeye. The place was packed for lunch so thats a good sign they are doing it right and the staff was friendly.

I really like this place... I also love Oh Mai, so no big surprise I suppose. The food is delicious, homey, and often even creative. I love it. I also enjoy the aesthetic of the place too; not pretentious at all, and actually reminds me of a little restaurant/food stall you might go eat at in different parts of Asia.

Show up at or around 11 am if you want dessert. There is only one type of dessert: mango parfait. Its good but its gone quick. They always run out. This can be frustrating. If you do show up early the restaurant smells strongly of industrial cleaning solvent. It can really damage the smell and taste of the food.

Unbelievably amazing Banh Mi. Try the sardine sandwich if youre not afraid. Pho tends to have a thick layer of oily grease on top, and noodle dishes are only so-so. Stick with the amazing sandwiches; still deserves a 5/5 for those alone.

This is a very fast place for lunch. Also you can call ahead and order and go right to the front of the line when you get there to pick up. Prices are reasonable. The Pho is delicious. I would recommend the Rib-Eye Vermicelli Salad!

I like sandwiches and Vietnamese food. Thats what you can get here. Food was plentiful and delicious. Staff was friendly. The "parking in back" was hard to find, but it is there, I promise. Try their Vietnamese ice-tea. Amazing.

Awesome sandwiches, amazing pho, and all at an extremely reasonable price. If you have two and its your first time, I recommend getting a sandwich and a large pho. Ask for an extra bowl and split both.

Craved Oh Mai the whole time I was in Vietnam. I always get the spicy short rib with an egg on it, and a coconut drink. The pho is just alright, Im really giving the 5-star because of the bahn mi.

I got the curry chicken rice dish. There were about 3 tiny pieces of chicken and one half scoop of onions. The rest of the plate was carrot strings and raw onions. I was still hungry afterward.

There pho and sandwhiches are all so good! Ive yet to have a bad thing on the menu and the prices are very reasonable. My only complaint is that service can sometimes be hit or miss.
