Bad Customer Service by lizzylou (1 review) Play Boy - Wow! I have never been treated so badly by a restaurant before! The sushi was old & looked like it had been sitting out for a very long time & possibly from the day+ before. The women that is apparently an owner told me that the sushi there is good she would not refund my money & all there customers love it & I should ask them (pointing to the current customers in the restaurant not to mention raising her voice). Thats what I did, went and asked two guys that were there eating (since she had made such a big seen & this is with my 12 year old daughter) One of them didnt eat sushi & the other one agreed. That is when she tells me she will give my money back. I would never eat here again! There is much better places in Utah county dont wast your money!

First time here so I decided to try a bunch of stuff: the orange chicken, egg rolls, seaweed salad, and the Playboy sushi roll. Very disappointed. Pretty much what youd expect though from a cheap Chinese place. All the flavor is from over sweetened sauces. And apparently its harder than youd think to get noodles right. They tasted ...hmmm, whats the word? Oh yeah. Smoked. The best part was the sushi roll. Not terrible. It looked like a 5 star roll, but the rice was over cooked and you could tell it was pretty much made with similar cheap ingredients as the rest of their food, and again sickeningly sweet sauces. I guess the prices are appropriate for the quality though.

My wife and I wanted to try something different, and thats what we got. The place is dirty - little food bits on the walls. How do they even get there? Rice was soggy, steak was very tough, noodles were bland and bloated. I joked with my wife that at least its impossible to mess up vegetables. But then I had a piece of broccoli. I was proven wrong. They serve everything in "to go" containers, which seemed to indicate a certain amount of laziness and that should have been a red flag. Just a gross place. This is legitimately the first place Ive ever asked for my money back for a meal. Luckily, they obliged. 1.5 stars for that.

I learned my lesson when I was in China for going to "fast food" type of sushi houses and swore Id never visit anything like them. I am sure you can imagine why. HOWEVER, after hearing from a few people that this place was pretty good I decided to break my vow and give them a try. It really is pretty good, fresh and tasty. Its not a high-class sushi type of place but when I am in the need of a sushi fix this place hits all the right spots, is fast and fresh. Never had a bad roll and the staff are friendly and accommodating not to mention they have happy hour from 2-5 I think every day. Half Price Sushi baby!

I could seriously eat at Hibachi House EVERY day. I love Tepanyaki, but this is half the price and twice as much food and it still tastes just as amazing. The sushi is good, the noodles delish, and they always cook my steak perfect! I havent had any of the issues here. I love the easy going atmosphere and I could eat gallons of the mustard sauce! Also, the staff is super nice,Every time I go in they remember me, and I love that even when they are super slammed on a busy night they are smiling at the register. THAT is customer service. Plus, if you can make it in time (2-5 M-F), you have 50% off sushi!

My Family and I have been coming to this establishment for 2 years now. This place is Amazing! The food portions are enough to fill a grown man to the point he doesnt want to drive home! (HUGE) The fried rice is AMAZING!! The noodles are also great! My kids beg to eat there! We get the Spicy Crunchy Tuna Roll and it is OMG! Add some cream cheese to make it OMFG! Ok Im getting out of character here! Sorry, Like I said this place is great and I really hope they open a store closer to me. I drive 20 miles from Sandy to Lehi :)

this place was so bad the food was gross disgusting and Superdry Ive never been to such a bad restaurant we had to write our own our own orders in a paper and bring him over to the cashier thought we had to write our own orders on a sticky pad what kind of restaurant does this it was sold the food was so bad that we can I eat anymore and we had a lot left over. such a waste of money and I will never ever ever come to this place ever again. I also had friends and family and they didnt even touch their food

I literally just went there ordered Orange chicken and some "sushi" The sushi was crap something you buy from the corner store, and the Orange chicken and noodles tasted like plastic, I have no clue how this place got 4 starts, maybe an old cook that used to be there but the food I got was terrible. I am not one to EVER leave a review but it was really that bad. the guy at the register was nice but the food was cheap junk. I took two bites and threw it all away made me sick to my stomach. 3/31/2015

Bad presentation, bad customer service, false advertising, and the food was low quality, flavorless and looks like it was just lazily thrown together. Just plain cheap crap. The more we ate the worse it tasted. Went with a family of 9 people and not a single person ate more than 2 bites. Have no idea how this place ever got 4 stars unless people were bribed. Probably the worst restaurant we have ever been to. It was such a waste I would have rather just thrown my money in the trash.

My wife and I were for a long time strictly panda express goers and eaters. However, we decided to try this place and instantly gave up Panda (besides arent they endangered anyway). The menu offers a wide variety of food for every appetite and craving. Our personal favorite is the Orange Chicken. It is to die for. The sushi is also excellent and fresh. We totally give this place two thumbs up and will be returning as often as possible!

Dont know what Mark Bairds problem is, but apparently hes never been to Benihanas, Tepanyakis, etc. I love this place. Yes, Japanese food is fried on a hot stove-top! If you didnt know that, you really dont deserve to write a review. Enough said. We go there often and imho it is every bit as good as Benihanas. If youre looking for fantastic Japanese food at a great price, this is the place to go.

I absolutely love this place. Their hibachi chicken and vegetables with noodles and their mustard sauce + sriracha on the side is ridiculously delicious. Even if my stomach gets mad at me later for eating it, I dont even care. Its worth every bite. NO REGRETS. Im sad they closed their Salt Lake location, but glad their Lehi location is still hanging on. Stay strong Hibachi House! Stay strong!

just left this place with my family. I usually dont bother to review a place, but this place was soo bad I needed to. horrible food, horrible service, my friend found a hair in their food, food was so gross we couldnt eat more than a couple of bites. how did this place get 4 stars? It literally tasted like left overs from last week. I would rather have mac n cheese tbh
