This was my first time eating here and it didnt go well .My sister and I had a frustrating experience. I have heard such good things in the past and was every disappointed with there service. When ordering they were out of multiple items that we wanted, (mild chicken strips, and sweet tea) at first we didnt think much of it because these things do happen..... But we pulled up to the window. The women at the window appeared very...sloppy and unkept. I hate to be mean and usual dont judge on these things but her shirt hax stains and was unbuttoned at the bottom were it was tucked in. ( Im also plus size so I understand the difficulties as to close fitting and let alone tucking them in) but working in the customer service industry my self it was disappointing to see. She then argued with another employee with the window open and did nothing to try and conceal it from her customers. We were then handed the wrong order. When we are if it was all in the one bag she then argued again with the employee.she then not nicely might I add informed us that it was not our order and took it back. Then proceeded to argue AGAIN with the same person. Needless to say we didnt receive our sauces and the correct drink. It was very disappointing.... Especially when it was the same cost as a site down dinner. The food was thankfully not bad like the service. To be fair it did hold up to its reputation but not worth it enough to deal with the customer service

The cashier was really nice and the food was great. However, my boyfriend and I ordered a 3pc tender meal each, then proceeded to wait for our order near the counter. After about 5 minutes of waiting the order after us was called out and the worker could see our confusion and told us that our tenders wouldnt be ready for about 10 more minutes. This wasnt really a problem. We decided to find a table to wait at but the entire dining area was a disaster. I dont entirely blame the staff for customers leaving garbage and food all over the tables and floor but it is their responsibility to keep it clean and presentable. It was actually disgusting. 15 minutes later we got our food and there was no apology for the wait, no extra goodies, no compensation of any kind for spending over 20 minutes to get "fast food". The worker who boxed our food didnt even bag it, he just called our number and walked away. No sauces, no utensils. Very disappointed. Every car that went through the drive thru had to wait for their order in the parking lot because the entire restaurant was moving so slowly.

This location was not very good. Every time Ive been here the food took waaay to long and was lukewarm. Im generally pretty patient when it comes to getting food, and I did stay civil, but I was less than impressed. Maybe if the food tasted as though it had recently been prepared or the store was super busy, but the store was quite mild, workers were standing around, and the food seemed like it had been chilling under a lamp for at least an hour... The only reason Im giving this place three stars instead of two is because the Highschool Jazz Band I was in played for the opening; they donated to the program (its cool that theyd contribute to a high school program like that) and gave us some free food. Which was good that time I might add, but that was the only time...

We order a 16 peace family meal. You suppose get 4 breast, 4 thighs, 4 legs, & 4 wings. These fools gave us 8 small legs, (I mean small) 4 small thighs, and 4 wings. Then when we tell them that they forgot the breast and gave us extra legs. The girl that fix our food, caught an atittude and said she put the breast in the box and not the legs. The manager finally came to the counter and confirmed what we where saying and gave us our breast. AND then they still mixed it up. Instead of giving us our 4 breast, we got 2 breast and 2 thighs. Plus this is not the 1st time they messed up on our orders. No more chances. We are done with this Popeyes Store on Antelope Street.

Just opened recently, super friendly staff and good food for fast food. Food was plenty hot and good quality. New soda machines, both responsive Coca-Cola Freestyle machines and Sweet Tea available. Properly sweet sweet tea, not watered down. Non-sweet available too. Very clean overall. Quite pleased. This raises the fast food standard. Noise is so/so. Lots of glass and open dining room. Partition between the counter side of the building and part of the dining room. Two TVs but reasonable volume (went at 9PM+.) *The dining room closes earlier than the drive thru, this isnt a point against, just a note due to GMaps only supporting one set of hours.

Its not QUITE the same as getting Popeyes Chicken from back in the Southland (I Mean, nothing tastes the same as Home... but its excellent to have this option in our neck of the woods up here). - Very good chicken - best served HOT (Not Cold). Their Mashed Potatoes and Gravy cannot be beaten... hands down... anywhere. And their darn biscuits are so freakin addictive. However, We did not get all of the foods that we ordered, but we did not know it until we got home... thats why this location only gets 4 Stars and not 5 .

When they first opened I was not very impressed. The chicken taste like they let it sit in grease for hours. I also have tried them when they first opened up in the morning. Now that they have the 5 dollar lunch box I decided to give them another try. Not sure if someone said something, or they have new staff but the chicken tasted so much better!!! Still the green beans were not good. I am from Louisiana, i have had popeyes all over the world. I will say every time I have gone back its better! I will give them 3

Well there wasnt a single clean table so I wiped down my own. Mind you only 4 other seated tables in the place at 1:30pm so they had time. Then came our food... I ordered a 2 peice spicy white meat... got dark meat. My biscuit was hard as a rock, chicken was like King Tuts sarcophagus... a bit dry ya might say! Washed it down finally the went to throw away my trash... the trash can was over flowing so I just set it on the table next to the trash & walked out & that was the best part of the entire experience...

The food is amazing, but it would be really nice if they could actually get my order right. I have gone to the Layton location 3 times now, and in those 3 times 2 of the times the have screwed up my order. The first time they screwed up my ENTIRE ORDER didnt give us one thing we ordered right. The second time they didnt give us all our drinks, screwed up half the order gave everyone fries when we ordered rice and beans. Thus location is not ran efficiently at all.

The boy taking my order needs a haircut or put his hair in ponytail and tie it back and when someone orders to be sure to include a spoon for sides and they need to teach all of them how to segregate the pieces in the rack the kid had no idea which was old or newly cooked the manager was busy doing whatever she does but needs to pay more attention to the cashier and how he takes care of the customers lose all your customers and you will all be looking for jobs
