Tonight at 9:12pm I drove about half mile from my home to 8050 E Indian School Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251. I have been craving chicken all day, and I usually go to KFC for my lunch several times a month. When I arrived at this location I saw that there were quite a few people in the drive through. Within 2 minutes at least 4 people left without even recieving food. After I got to the window I asked for a 2pc meal and a 3pc tender meal for my wife. Immediately after asking for my 2pc the employee taking my order asked if I wanted Original, Crispy or Grilled. I asked for Crispy as I always do. Immediately after that he said "Im sorry actually we only have grilled chicken available for your 2pc." To which I replied I really want crispy chicken please?! He continued and said he only had my 2pc available in grilled. I then asked him what time they close and he said 10. I asked him how could he only have grilled chicken available when they close in nearly 1 hour! He then gave me attitude and said that only grilled chicken could be ordered. After that I became upset and pulled up to the window and asked for the manager. He told me that he was the manager to which I asked his name, and he told me his name was Tyler. I then asked for the corporate number and he told me "Im not going to give you the phone number to corporate" and i said "i can just look it up online" and he said "do what you gotta fu**ing do!" and slammed the door in my face. I was very upset and very hungry! I have been a restaurant manager for nearly 10 years and I would never expect one of my employees to treat a customer this way! I was treated as such an inconvenience, and I ended up going home and making a sandwich for dinner... I really hope KFC can make this right. I love KFC, I was raised in West Virginia and KFC is in my blood. P.S. I wrote a whole message out on your website and when I submitted it I was redirected and I dont think it even went through. I hope you guys can make this right, I am disgusted at the way he treated me by your manager Tyler. I really dont appreciate him lying to me and saying friend chicken wasnt available. I can only imagine how much money you guys are losing by this man telling people an hour before close that only grilled chicken or whatever is left is available for their meals. They never, ever have an extra crispy breast. All I ever want is one. So I just plan to wait. 20 min every time. I know. It is ridiculous. They dont like it. But its a chicken restaurant. They should have chicken, right? So many stories to tell. Last time I insisted on waiting, as always. The window girl kept forgetting my order, my drink, change, so when she asked me to pull out of the drive-thru to the parking lot, I said dont forget me. But she did. AND she forgot to fry the chicken. Really? Another time, I drove up and lights were out in dining room, sign was out, an hour before closing. So I turn in and workers are in pkg lot. They say, oh no, were open, drive thru only. So through the drive-thru, no chicken, insist on waiting, 20 minute wait. This time I pull up parallel to dark dining room window so they cant forget me. They see me.and flip on the lights. One guy is cleaning in pitch dark. And others sre with girlfriends. I dont care. I just want chicken.But they are out of control. Tonight, the usual. And I mutter to myself, why do I come here??! I banter with the new guy behind the speaker. Ill wait.yes, I know 20 minutes. (Every time.) He doesnt take the rest of my order, silence. Id like coleslaw for both sides. Crickets. Are you still there, did you get my order? Im sorry, mam, but we are out of coleslaw. Hmmm. Well, THAT WAS IT. I suggested that they make it easier, take chicken off the menu and you can cancel my order. Thanks. Good bye, KFC. Not going back. (How DO they stay open? ;-)

I look forward to getting KFC only once a year, because of its fat content, but I love it and the two nearest us closed down. Arrived after a play and were told the extra crispy was all out because they were starting to close down. This was 10:15 pm, 45 minutes before closing! When I worked in restaurants during college, that grill stayed open and ready to cook what was on the menu until closing time. THEN we began to clean and restock. I wonder if the owner is aware? I was disappointed, because once you have extra crispy its hard to go back. There was only one car ahead of us and it was obvious they were only reheating chicken as they were closing. It still took almost 15 minutes. Sad, very sad. The Colonel is turning over in his grave!

Very disappointed, spent $30 and the order was all messed up. Drove all the way home 8 miles, called the store 3 times, no answer. Once someone picked up and hung up. Went back to the store and explained that the order was messed up, the girl a counter apologized and gave me my potato wedges, and my other order of chicken tenders, and then I told her we ordered a 3 piece meal and we only got a 2 piece and told her I would like a thigh, and got a chicken breast instead. We had drinks that came with our meals, which was four but no drink carrier. No Ice in the machine out front, floor was also dirty out front. They were not that busy for the store to look like that. I think it may be awhile before I go back there thats for sure.

the service was awful! we went through drive thru and thats not alot of customer interaction but this was ridiculous! the man over the intercom was mumbling and slurring his words together you couldnt understand a word he said. when he went to give me back my change he practically threw the change at me. we got kfc famous bowl i was so excited cuz it looks so good on tv i got home and it was disgusting. everything was mashed together. he forgot to give us napkins which wasnt a big deal and also he forgot to give us straws. awful service!

Waited 20 minutes for food, and they had none of their sides in stock with the exception of green beans and coleslaw. Ordered the 8 piece and when I got home there was only 7 pieces. Ordered half original recipe and the other half grilled so I ended up with 3 original recipe thighs, 2 grilled wings, and 2 grilled breasts. The grilled was bland and dry. This was a dissatisfying meal for the family, and we rarely get fried chicken. Next time we feel up for fried chicken were just going to pick everything at the grocery store deli.

If youre going to a KFC with high expectations then you should take your $4 and short patience and spend them at a 5 star restaurant. Yes it took 15 mins to get our food. Yes they forgot the side, and the cookie, and the spork. They looked fairly busy and even with all the hectic people running around the cashier apologized and attended us in a calm professional manner. As a matter of fact all the employees we encountered treated us kindly even though it was super busy. Food tasted like KFC food should. Tables were clean.
