Please be warned – I am not one to normally be totally dissatisfied with a fast food restaurant, hence I am writing this review to warn you about the Chicken Place. I visited the Chicken Place on Rufe Snow Tuesday evening at 7:45 to pick up a quick snack for my son and I, about the only good thing I can about the place, the girl working the counter was nice – I ordered a family chicken tender meal, the lady asked which sides we would like, we asked for mashed potatoes – the girl stated they were out, also let us know they did not have any gravy, I asked the girl if they were closing, she said no, they closed at 10. So I changed my order to an 8 piece mixed with four rolls, she charged me almost $16.00 and we were on our way. Less than a five minute drive home, we found the chicken was cold, dry, and yet greasy – after my son and I each ate one piece, I decided to throw the rest away. Please be warned, we both got sick.

This is a great place to have a quiet and delicious lunch! I go there often and I never feel pressured to leave right away. Its so relaxing and the food tastes like home. Ivette, one of the employees, is so sweet. She always asks about my day and since I order the same thing every time I go, she knows just what I want. I just love this place!

The chicken was pretty good not the best but definitely not the worst. Cooked well not too much breading. Usually dont eat the skin just the insides but I ate the skin it was tasty I guess I was looking for more spices. 3.5 stars in my book.

Ask for a couple things of ranch and honey mustard. The kid said "No". He then offered one sauce instead of the gravy. I ordered a side of macaroni and there was no spoon or fork in the bag. The chicken was dry.

The food is great and the gizzards and livers are the bomb! However, as with most places, check your takeout items before you leave. They forgot an item but I didnt realize after I had already gotten home.

This is my favorite chicken place in Watauga. They always load me up with a mountain of chicken strips. To me just as good if not better than Chicken Express and definitely better than Cains.

Great service. My card wasnt working, so they offered me a free meal. Super generous and kind lady who worked the headset made my day! Chicken is also crispy and fluffy and delicious!

The chicken tender combo used to be a huge meal but rather recently they have shrank down the size of the tenders. Kinda disappointed since this was a great value before.

Excellent food & purchasing the 30 pc.family pack was enough food for more than 4 people for dinner and lunch the following day! Great portion size for the money!
