I was shopping nearby, and thought, "If they have a grilled option, Ill bite." I was quite surprised when they did have grilled (on the tenders, not the wings). At first I didnt like menu, as everything seems like a "combo meal" - food, drink, fries, and toast. But then I saw you could sub the fries for another side (I went coleslaw). When I said I wanted water, the drink cost (75 cents) was taken off. Oh, I went Mango Habanero on the sauce. Tenders were surprisingly good. Sauce was OK, not quite spicy enough, but not bad. Coleslaw was not super creamy, i.e. more vinegar, which was how I like it. Several TVs, both inside and on the spacious, covered, patio. All in all a good experience. Surprisingly good. I will be back! Oh, and I became curious if the other chicken finger place nearby, i.e. Zaxbys, does grilled. I looked at the on-line menu, and I did not see the option. Good job Slim!

Slim Chickens has become my favorite restaurant in this part of town. Ive been here five times and I have been satisfied all three times. The food tastes great, and the chicken is much better quality than Id expect from a place like this. Prices are fair. Two can eat for about $16. I like the Slims plate, which is very filling. Definitely get the cayenne ranch, and I also like the Slims sauce. Mac & cheese is great, but not really worth the price. My only complaint is that the restaurant is always very cold. In fact, my fries are usually not very hot either. Still havent tried the chicken & waffles, but Ive heard great things about it. I will certainly be back.

The chicken here is extremely inconsistent which is a shame because it was so good after it first opened. The chicken used to be moist and tender, but we were served dry, chewy chicken the last few times we visited and now this place isnt even on our list of options of places to eat. All they need to do is remove the tendons out of the tenderloins and brine them before cooking but that step has been getting skipped.

We happened upon this place and immediately loved the dining area and the smiling faces at the counter. The chicken was hot and delectable!! The Cole slaw was great (i took the leftovers home) I would absolutely recommend this wonderful place to anyone that loves great chicken!! By the time we left, the place was packed!!! This place is no longer a secret! If I could have given this place 10 stars, I would have!

LOVE THIS PLACE!! Excellent customer service! Every employee we come in contact with is very friendly and kind. We went through the drive thru and they forgot to give us our dessert we ordered. As we were pulling away from the restaurant, the drive thru employee came running after us to give us our dessert. How many food places would come after you, let alone realize they forgot something?!?!. A++ service guys!!

Everything about this place is wonderful. The chicken is always cooked perfectly and the choice of fried or grilled is very nice. They have a nice selection of sauces, a large selection of tea and beverages and the service is unmatched. Of course it doesnt hurt that they also have Texas Blues music playing in the restaurant and offer a military discount. Great food, great people, great restaurant.

Drove 30 minutes to get there with friends - worth every minute. New experience for our friends, they LOVED it. Forgot how good the fried pickles are - addictive! Just over $40 for a fantastic meal for 4 of us including a beer. Well worth the drive, but eager for a closer location. Talked to an owner, also Mgrs Frank and Chris - couldnt have been nicer or more helpful. Well be back, oh yeah.

This place is so good, I have to visit whenever Im in town and went two days in a row on this trip! (I live in California) The chicken is so crispy and juicy! I recommend the chicken and waffles with a side of gravy. Price of meals include a beverage! Their fries are also good and are served with a delicious seasoning. If I had this place back home, Id probably never cook chicken again!

I got chicken tenders with honey mustard on the side, the chicken was outstanding and the honey mustard was rich and creamy, it was awesome! The cashier he was so welcoming, funny, happy, charming, and welcoming... actually the whole crew was very welcoming by saying hello and welcome in. Also, the coleslaw was pretty dang great and fresh it was a perfect blend of mild tartness.

First time ever eating at a SC but I didnt have time to go in and went through the drive-through and ordered chicken and waffles. It was delicious but I was so disappointed in the portion size! Please dont call it chicken and waffle(S) when theres ONE waffle! I was still hungry and the price wasnt worth the 1 waffle and 3 mini chicken strips.

Good food and quick service! Lots of sauce options (random I know, but many chicken places only have 1 or 2 and sometimes none). The chicken was breaded perfectly and not that greasy for fried food. The Mac is pretty legit as a side too! Definitely my preference over Canes or Chicken Express. Completely worth the stop!

Great atmosphere, outstanding food and a diverse/interesting menu make this restaurant a solid choice for any time youre craving chicken. Their fried batter is true to Mississippi standards (thank God for Mississippi?) and certainly does not disappoint. I highly recommend the cayenne ranch dipping sauce.

Love this place came here for the first time and great experience...... Chicken & Waffles are amazing my son thought it was weird but a couple minutes into eating he wanted some waffles..... Sylvia had great customer service made sure we where doing good......

Update: The cayenne ranch chicken sandwich is awesome and I hope its a permanent menu item. Easily the best chicken sandwich Ive had anywhere. We also like their tenders, wings, and waffles. The staff is friendly and they offer a 10% military discount.

This place has the best Chicken and waffles I have ever eaten. My wife and went to Lolos and that was worst soggy waffles and over cooked chicken we ate. Slims waffles are crisp and light. The chicken was moist,tender, lightly crusted. Worth coming back.

The food is always delicious, however the tea and lemonade is never prepared well. I recommend the cayenne ranch with the chicken, and the ketchup is on the table for those fries. The staff is always friendly and theyve never given me a hard time.

This place is fantastic. Not only is the food amazing (great wings and the chicken and waffles are the best around), but the prices are great (especially $5.99 Chicken and Waffles Wednesdays!). AND the drive thru is open pretty late.

Tried Slim Chicken for the first time tonight. Had the chicken and waffle with fries, a pecan cheese cake jar and a sweet tea. Everything was good but like other comments the sweet tea had a funny taste to it, just seamed off.

There was not a single thing I was unsatisfied with. Service was unbelievably fast and efficient. The food couldnt be any better. The floors were nice and clean. Its honestly hard to believe this is a fast food place.

We tried this place during a school fundraiser event. The food is Delicious! Great portions and prices. Love the variety of sauce options! The employees are kind and helpful! We will definitely be going back!
