From the street, this little restaurant looks more like a take-out place, but once you enter, you find yourself in a spotlessly clean establishment with tablecloth-covered tables. The food was excellent and very well priced. All main courses were well under $20, and most were under $15. We ordered the Roasted Chicken combination—half chicken, potatoes and salad. The chicken was tender and well seasoned (not too spicy for my cautious husband). I had the Peruvian Soup with Beef and Noodles—a large bowl with plenty of meat. Mine needed a little salt for my taste, but better less than more, I always say. In both cases, the serving sizes were very adequate. While waiting for the entrée, we were served some tasty corn nuts—not the tooth-breaking kind you find in store packages. These were soft, yet crunchy and delicious. For an appetizer we tried the Leche de Tigre, a seafood marinade which was a little too strong for our tastes. Being unfamiliar with this lime-based dish, we were a little shocked. If you are used to Leche de Tigre, you may enjoy this dish, but if not, be careful. We were introduced to an absolutely delicious non-alcoholic beverage—Chicha Morada—a drink made from purple Peruvian corn and flavored with boiled pineapple rind, cinnamon and clove. It would be worth going back a second time just to give that beverage another try! For dessert we had another dish topped with the same purple corn base—Mazamorra Morada. Delicious! Also—Cream Caramel, Peruvian Style. If you are interested in giving your taste buds a new experience—something besides spaghetti and meatballs or hamburger, give this new restaurant a try. We will certainly go back again. We enjoyed the quiet dining, interrupted only occasionally by the cheering from a soccer game on the flat screen television in the corner. My only suggestion—instead of fries, serve a few of the hundreds of varieties of potatoes grown in South America. mma

Although the food is very tasty, this place is serving up hidden costs along with his take out orders. My husband went in to buy a few dishes and paid for much more than he received. Besides the take out orders being smaller than the eat in, there were hidden costs, added costs, which started out more than the price on the menu. The menu charge was $17.00 for a chicken dinner which includes salad and french fries. We were charged $20.00 and were not given fries OR dressing for the salad. Then the owner said that he was also charging $3.00 for a bottle of soda. No one asked for soda. When my husband called the owner after coming home and realizing that the french fries and salad dressing were missing, he got an "oh well" attitude from the owner. Not a good plan to dine here. We will never go back! Too bad as the food was really good.

If you think your going to eat chicken at the chicken place, think again. Ive now tried 2x to eat there, first time I was told there was no chicken left, it was only the middle of dinner time, how could they be out of chicken 6pm. So we left. Just tried to go back in, this time I called on our way there, confirmed they had chicken. Walked in 10 MINUTES later, to be told they were OUT OF CHICKEN! Seriously! I could SEE the chickens on the rotisserie. I think they are not interested in serving white people. We wont be back.

Parked in front at 7 08, not served first course for over 30 minutes. Anticucho too thick and chewy but flavorful. Could have used a real knife. After 1 hour, civiche arrived, huge portion, very tasty. Not good if youre in a hurry, I was alone so it seemed like forever.

This little place is excellent. The food was delicious, I tried the Arroz con Mariscos, and I was more than happy with my selection. The portions are good, and the price very fair. My place to go for Spanish food en Patchogue.

Never tried Peruvian food before but loved it! Seafood ceviche was amazing, so fresh. Avacodo salad was crisp and delicious. Decor was unremarkable but the food makes it worth it.
