First-time customer. The parking lot was packed when we got there Sunday morning @ 11:00. All of the tables were taken as well. Fortunately there were seats available at the bar. I ordered the T.B.S B.L.T. with hash browns and requested onions and jalapenos cooked into them, coffee and honey instead of sugar. My wife ordered Eggs Benedict with ham and spinach and a Dr.Pepper. We ordered a kids 1/2 waffle with bacon and scrambled eggs for my son and a Sprite to drink. By the time I came out of the restroom, my sons food was coming out! The 1/2 waffle was HUGE and fresh, the eggs were hot and the bacon was not deep-fried, thankfully. My and my wifes orders quickly followed. My hash browns order has never been right the first time at ANY restaurant EVER but here! FANTASTIC! My blt was loaded and the jalapeno bread was grilled and buttery! My wife raved about here order and complimented the healthy cuts of ham that came with it and the amount of spinach as well. The wait staff was VERY attentive and kept our drinks full. Kudos for what looked like a well-run family-owned and operated business. This may quickly become one of our favorite spots to eat breakfast. The Big Rooster Challenge on the menu was a great idea as well. My family and I will DEFINITELY be eating here in the future!

Im amazed, This place has such great reviews. walked in the door, the door boy says there is a wait, no tables available. I point to one of THREE open tables in the restaurant and say "what about that small one" "oh," he says as he laughes it off "I guess we do have tables" we are ignored for the next ten minutes by everyone in the restaurant. several staff members walk past, I try to get ANYONES ATTENTION NOTHING what? do I have a massive booger? girlfriend, seeing my obvious frustration, asks 2 workers at the counter, folding napkins, if we could be waited on. they look at us as if were insane. a woman comes over to take our order, before I could even finish ordering drinks, she turns to walk away, I say "were ready to order our whole meal" she ignores me. I say MUCH LOUDER "excuse me mam" she ignores me as she talks to the table near us. I get up. we storm out, I call the manager outside and she tells me "dont tell me how to run my business" I dont care if theyre always packed, If the food is good, who cares. I wont be treated as if I dont exist. will NOT BE GOING BACK went to Cafe express on 1960 AWESOME!!!! IF you want the "mom and pop diner experience" go to " the breakfast club" downtown. its worth the drive, worth the wait. and the staff act like human beings

My boyfriend and I eat here once a week on our days off. It was our favorite breakfast place. Todays experience lost us as customers all together. When we ordered our food our waitress, Vaughn, told us she would TRY to sub our food. I ordered a bacon breakfast burrito but sub the hash browns for fries. My boyfriend ordered the one egg and to sub the egg for a biscuit. Weve ordered the same thing for months. Vaughn just looked at us like we were stupid and insisted that she isnt sure she could do that. When we got our food, my boyfriends order was right. The order she brought back to me was tacos with chorizo. I sent my order back and we told her again, it was supposed to be a bacon breakfast burrito. While were sitting there waiting for my corrected order to go through. I could hear Vaughn taking about how were so complicated and how thats the reason why she messed you order up, I cant believe how inconsiderate and loud she was. Keep in mind, she was all the way across the restaurant. Vaughn had another waitress bring back my corrected order. My order was still wrong, she brought back a chorizo burrito. Im allergic and I cant eat it. After speaking with the manager we left. This was hands down, the WORST customer experience Ive ever had.

Just ate here today. The service was good and the food was ok. I ordered the breakfast burrito (with sausage) and it was alright. My biggest complaint about the burrito isnt the size- its HUGE! I ate less than a quarter of it before tapping out and asking for a to-go box. It was the tiny amount of beans in the burrito. The burrito is supposed to have refried beans, cheese, the meat of your choice, and eggs. The burrito was about 95% eggs, very little cheese, a decent amount of sausage...and about a teaspoon of beans. A teaspoon! I dont know about anybody else but when I bite into a burrito (even a breakfast burrito), I expect a lot of beans! It looks like they made an omelette, put a couple of tiny dabs of beans on the tortilla, and then slapped everything together. They need to cut the amount of eggs in half and even out the bulk of it with extra beans. It was kind of "meh" with this since it costs $8.

There was a wait the entire time our party was here, which is always a good sign. The inside is quite cramped, as they tried to fit in as many tables possible in a small location. A Sunday morning wait was about 25 minutes, which wasnt too bad. The service was very attentive and took care of our take whenever we needed it. The drink and food orders were taken immediately, but the food took a while to come out. I guess thats a good thing since it was made hot and fresh in the kitchen. The portions were slightly bigger than I expected, especially for the great prices we paid. The pancakes were great, and they even had sugar free syrup, which was not expected. The side of hash browns was amazing and huge, and no one was able to finish them. Overall, if you dont mind waiting a bit for breakfast or brunch, its definitely worth it to get some big portions of delicious food at affordable prices.

Not sure if this place is as busy every Sunday as it was yesterday (Fathers Day 2017) but lack of parking almost caused us to leave. Tiny tiny tiny parking lot! We were just about to go find a different place to eat but then saw someone leaving & got super lucky to have a spot to park! The place was packed to the gills but we were seated right away (2 of us) & a super friendly waitress took our drink order & made us feel welcomed. Not sure what iced tea brand they use but it was super good. He ordered a breakfast sandwich & had it modified for his tastes. 2 friends eggs, thick cheese, 2 sausage patties & jalapenos on jalapeno bread. He LOVED it!!!! I had the chopped steak breakfast with soft scrambled eggs & it was great! Not too many places know how to make soft scrambled eggs! Well be back OFTEN!!!!

If you want something less fancy than The Egg & I and not as mainstream as IHOP then The Breakfast Place is right inbetween. This place reminds me of mom & pops eateries - tucked away in a nondescript location on the side of the road, friendly and down to earth, emphasis on food, value and service and not on fancy menus with more pages than a movie script or some hipster interior decor. The number of choices, including healthy options and customization is just right for me. Judging by the fact that it is always busy any time of the day they must be doing something right. I just wish it was open for dinner as well.
