I use to love this place until Sunday. I went in to get breakfast due to the line being so long I decided to just order to go which I did . I went over everything with the cashier and she went over my order and everything was assured that the order was correct. After receiving my order she went over everything just to see if everything was there with the order. After leaving the restaurant was I headed back to Prairie View and then I realize that my omelette had no cheese. I call the restaurant back to let them know of the mistake and the cashier told me that they did not charge me for cheese and that they could give me a refund for the cheese. I ask to speak with a manager because I did not want a discount I wanted my favorite omelet redone so I can. After speaking with the manager who was the Owner daughter she was so mean and unprofessional and had a attitude. I was so angry because it was like no customer service at all . Instead of correcting what your establishment did wrong she got a attitude with me like I made the mistake and she stated ok we will remake and make sure you bring the other back also. I got kind of annoyed so I let her know that I really did not like her tone and how she was speaking with a paying customer. Guess what she did next she hung up in my face and I decided not to go back. I have been living in cypress over 10+ years and I was telling everyone about the breakfast spot matter a fact me and my family usually go on Saturday Morning. After this I do not ever want to go there again. The daughter who is the owner daughter does not need to be a manager she lacks customer service. It such ashamed because Im sure if she did me like that she done others like that. Rest for sure I will let everyone I know in the community about this issue so that can be aware of how this place treat there paying customer.

What can I say, they are trying to be like The Egg and I, but severely lack in both decor and quality of food. Pancakes are okay, but you can easily replicate it at home with an instant mix. Hashbrowns were both dry and burnt, eggs were bland (needed to use ketchup), and the sausage patty was out of the frozen aisle. Even if the taste of the food is totally my opinion, the waitress I had was green and not service oriented. The only time I saw her was when she took my order and when she delivered my check. HA speaking of which, she delivered my tab for $22.00 but the receipt stated I had already left $28.00 dollars and they needed to give ME money. I knew this to be a mistake and made the waitress aware. Without any form of humility she just took my check and came back with the correct receipt, all without saying sorry, (or anything at all... Just walked off). I get better food and service at Dennys and save money...

I have been going here since the place opened and I think this is the best breakfast in houston period...I tried "the egg and I" after I had been going to breakfast house and it wasnt even close to the same quality and flavor... After reading the google reviews for breakfast house its clear to me that the people leaving one star reviews are the type of customers that are never happy no matter how good the service and food is... It also looks like they have insecurities about their race and are just looking for any reason to call someone a racist....My advice to anyone reading this is to ignore the few fake reviews here and the ones posted by bitter angry people that are never happy because breakfast house is awesome period... In fact I am headed there now at 6 am which is the best time to beat the rush of people who love this place...

Went there this morning for breakfast with friends from out of town and it was a disaster. Took way too long for the waitress to even take our order and when she FINALLY brought our order to the table none of it was what we ordered. When she would run back to the kitchen to correct one order we would have to remind her she had three other orders that were not correct. Also watched other tables she was serving that had to send there orders back as well. Frustrating! Watched another waitress bring out a tray of food and she held the tray up in the air. The waitress had long hair and it was not tied back or held back by anything. Her long hair was in the tray of food she was crying. Disgusting. Bottom line, not going back.

Got our order wrong. The steak we got was a good cut last Sunday and this Saturday it was grisly, thin rare on one side and well done on the other. Our waitress was very sweet and helpful. The Belgium waffle was stock batter with heb whipped cream. I asked for extra strawberries but they did not bring them till I asked and noticed there were barely any on the plate. They acknowledged that the service for us was lower par and were kind enough to quickly offer to exchange the steak but we were starving so it was already gone XD. Service was okay and despite the Nothing was comped. I give it 2 stars because the food wasnt bad, but the consistency of service and quality are a detriment to their product.

We use to love coming, today we came in for brunch. I ordered coffee and my partner ordered a Coke, so we get two coffees, we made the waitress aware of her mistake and so she didnt even apologize and pours one cup of coffee into the other, while doing so she spilled it all over the table almost on my partner and just walks away to serve another couple in front of us. She had their drinks and our drinks on the same tray and she told us how that saves her time which is great and all but the service in this restaurant was a disgrace this morning!! The prices have also gone up!

I visited the breakfast house with 3 other adults and 3 children. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. Everyones meal was perfectly cooked. The people who ordered biscuits said they were the best biscuits ever. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs; his chicken fried steak was perfect. To people who got bad food: If your food is not cooked the way you wanted it, ask your server what can be done to fix it. They all seemed like nice reasonable people so I am sure reasonable request would be honored.

Great place for southern comfort food. Delicious. Great service. Coffee was a little watery, but great taste. If you are new, I recommend the Huevos Buenos. You cant go wrong with the chicken and waffles, either. Id probably avoid the regular platters with just eggs, toast, bacon and sausage. Doesnt seem worth it compared to the other, more "exciting" options. Like, their burrito. You eat it with a fork and knife! Lol If you have come for a healthy option, this is probably not your place.

This is a very popular Cypress breakfast joint & one of my favorite places to eat breakfast when I can get in. The food is well cooked here & the prices are appropriate which make me continue to come here over big chain competitors. The menu is pretty diverse & Ive yet to have something I did not like. Theres items for the kiddos too. On the weekends expect a wait, this place is that good & popular. FYI Closes at 2pm M-F & 3pm on Sat & Sunday, opens at 6 am for both. Thank you guys!
