We decided to try the new Miyazaki Japanese restaurant tonight. Very friendly staff! They have yet to have the grand opening so, it is a little quiet, which was nice. We ordered a Bento box. At first glance you may think its a bit pricey, however, two adults shared this. And, we still had some left to take home. Also, you get to chose TWO main dishes to come in the Bento Box. We also ordered a Yaki Udon, which is delicious! Another person in our party ordered the Unagi Don. He said that it was amazing, and better than what he gets at his favorite restaurant. For Sushi, we ordered Her Passion, it was good. I will most likely try something else next time. I will add, when we ordered, we were also brought an order of Crab Rangoon OTH. I am impressed with the value, the taste, flavor and the friendly staff! Plus, Im partial to non-chain restaurants.

As sushi lovers we have tried all the Japanese restaurants around and had pretty much settled down at Fukuda as being the best in The Woodlands area. They now have competition that is very strong. Miyazaki opened up on the northbound I-45 feeder next to Hodges Supermarket just south of Robinson Road. We had several items; the miso soup was very good, the spider hand rolls (soft shell crab) excellent, the other rolls we tried all very good and the manager told me the uni was fresh, it was and also very good. Service was pleasant. The meal was delightful and we will go back again. This is the type of locally owned restaurant we want to keep open in our neighborhood, I suggest you try it.

We were greeted with big smiles and seated immediately. When the vegetable tempura appetizer came, it was presented very well... So well in fact that we attacked it and I forgot to take a picture until we leaned back and there was nothing but crumbs left. The salads were delivered in chilled bowls which was great because we really dont like it when salads come at room temp. Nice and crispy, plenty of dressing. The sashimi was fresh, and the rolls were made nicely. The menu didnt indicate that the Dragon on Fire roll was baked, I assumed it was a raw roll, but tasted good none the less. Drinks were kept topped off, and service was always with a smile. Overall it was a nice lunch.

I dont understand how high this places rating is. Me and my boyfriend ordered about $60 worth of sushi, including 3 specialty roles, and 4 orders of salmon nigiri (about 8 pieces). We came out literally starving. Im a 5 foot 100 pound girl and do not have big stomach and neither does my boyfriend. The roles were not cheap, about $15 per each, and they were about 6-7 pieces each, super thin, filled with ridiculously tiny ingredients (one just had Tuna fish, cucumber and jalapenos in it), no toppings. Really total waste of money. Ive never felt that I have wasted money by going out to eat before I tried this place. Those saying this sushi was good never had really good ones before!!

We tried several different dishes starting with the Fried Calamari and Coconut Shrimp. Both were excellent. They were both lightly breaded, the sauces were excellent and the presentation was classy. We went on to try several of the Specialty rolls. Everything was fresh and extremely tasty. They have many different beers, Saki and fountain drinks. The prices are great! We had 2 appetizers, 3 Specialty Rolls and 2 beers for $60! We will definitely go back very soon.

Ambiance is casual but peaceful and exceptionally clean. Service is excellent: friendly and attentive. Sushi was the best Ive had in The Woodlands; fresh, flavorful and generously portioned sans the lackluster gimmicks (I had the nigiri in order to accurately judge the quality of the fish). I also had the pork ramen made spicy. This was quite good and well-charred and well-seasoned. Its official - Ive got a new favorite ramen place!

Fantastic place. Started with, I must say, one of the best miso soups I have ever had including some in Tokyo. The salad and the dressing was up to par. The first course was just divine, the sashimi was very fresh and superbly cut. The second course the sushi was pleasantly awesome, like the sashimi, freshness was at its peak. Highly recommend you come and eat at Miyazaki. Tell Ken, the owner, I sent you.

We went there for my 18th birthday, and I was not disappointed! The waitstaff was friendly, professional and attentive. The food was delicious, and it came out in a reasonable amount of time. The pork donburi bowl was so good, and the portions are huge at a reasonable price! I am DEFINITELY coming back sometime soon. Thanks for the food!

My gosh- certainly the best place for sushi in The Woodlands! Always fresh food, friendly staff and accommodating management! We visit several times a month and will continue our tradition (especially on Friday nights when ladies drink for FREE)! Thanks Ken- awesome place you have set up!

Great service and food. We did get the soft shell crab appetizer, which was great but you could taste the crab wasnt fresh. That was the only bad thing about our first experience there. Everything else was great. Got the gozilla roll and Miyazaki special roll. Waiters were very attentive.

Great and attentive service. My drink wasnt empty for any longer than a minute at a time. We had some Tako Yaki as an appetizer which was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, followed by some pork ramen with some of the best broth Ive ever had. Definitely coming back!!

How is this place not always packed. The food was well priced and good enough for me to actually write a review. Amazing food!! I could do without the pop music though.
