Another one of the hole in the wall gang, but dont ever judge a book by its cover, what looks like a run down old filling station where you might have found Goober working under an old Ford 60 years ago is now one of the best burger joints around. Burger Boy, has some of the nicest people you could meet and the bestest food you can eat, as a burger aficionado it hurts to know that it took over 50 years to find this place and it hurts almost as much to realize that sooner or later I will have to forgo the heavenly all beef deliciousness and cheese topped with fresh everything to get one of their Pork Chop sandwiches that I have been drooling over since I saw it on the menu. So many restaurants, so little time, life is good and places like Burger Boy just make it all that much better.

I cant believe Im about to write a bad review about Burger Boy... They used to be the go to burger place in town... sure it looked a little gross and run down from the outside, but inside they had heavenly burgers... not anymore... Im not sure if the owner or management changed but the food definitely did... The burgers are no longer what they used to be... and the last two times that I ordered onion rings I could tell they were old and had been refried because the onions were a mushy gummy consistency inside the breading... Burger Boy please step your game back up... just be gross on the outside and good on the inside

I eat here often and really love their breakfast tacos. The make each one fresh when you order it unlike like most places that scoop your taco contents from a bucket on a warmer. Their menu compared to the size of the restaurant is huge. Im talking burgers, fried fish, chicken fried steak, full selection for breakfast and shakes and malts that would make DQ jealous. Only reason I didnt give them 5 stars is because the are an old place which adds to the charm a bit but the are renovating still for what seems like a year. When its all done and the get that customer bathroom done Im sure Ill be giving them 5 stars.

I like this place for starters great prices great food. I come here often and enjoy the food. The bad part about this is that both cashier caught an attitude with me when I just pulled up. Their customer service is lacking and ugly. I may take for granted that they must of been having a bad day but thats no excuse to treat a paying customer like that. I was rushed through my order on a slow day and they were very unprofessional on how the handled the situation. Honestly other then that I would rate this place 5 stars if they teach there cashiers better.

Been eating there since they opened & have never had anything but exceptional food,shakes,etc. Dont know why its not rated top burger place in Conroe. I have taken friend from Houston who had to drive all over metro area everyday & ate all the supposed best burger places but said couldnt find better place anywhere.I believe it! Dont forget to try fish or shrimp baskets. Yummm!

I got a reg cheeseburger and some tater tots. Cheeseburger wasnt that thick but was really good! The tater tots were very delicious a well. & they dont give you a few tater tots like everywhere else, they give you a lot!! Fresh & hot! lol I was looking at the menu & they have a huge variety of different things so I am definitely coming back to try more!!!

I just tried this place for the first time after seeing all the great reviews, and Im shocked at how gross this burger is. The burger meat looks and tastes disgusting, and its so thin it doesnt taste right with the huge bun and ton of toppings. It looks and tastes so unappealing that I am literally throwing it in the trash. Will never be coming here again

My husband and I just came to eat here, it is a small place but the food is great, big portions but also quality food. My husband had the double cheese burger with bacon and its HUGE!! I had the grilled chicken sandwich it was very juicy and tasty and comes with bacon at no extra charge. Highly recommend this place for a burger fanatic.

Very small, run down building with amazing food! Burgers are their specialty, with the Big Boy burger being the granddaddy of all burgers. They also have a fairly extensive menu of other items & I have never been disappointed with any of it. Some of the staff come across a little rude, but the burgers make up for it.

The hidden gem of Conroe fast food. Try the Chicken Lewie. Unprepossessing looking, even shabby, but the food is great (The only bad experience I ever had with the food was that the outer part of an onion got in my sandwich a couple of times out of hundreds.). A neighborhood place. Employees treat regulars like family.

Delicious food and great prices. Their milkshakes are on par with Katzs but about a 1/3 less the price. Their burgers are good, though there are better (but more expensive) options in the area. The chili here, however, is delicious. Try smothered tots or a chili burger; you wont be disappointed.

The kind of dive you want to stumble upon. Good food. Call in a "to go" order and youll have a better experience though. Great tater tots and fries. Try the shawarma. Daily specials. Plus regular burger options that are good. Almost always busy. Friendly staff and fun regulars.

This seems like a small business getting started. The building itself needs cosmetic work. But besides the place being small, unorganized, and in desperate need of remodeling, the employees were very friendly and I had only a short wait on my meal which was tasted really good.

I will never eat here again. I order a chicken fried steak basket with white gravy. When I got home it was a mushy fried steak between buns with freaking mayo all over it. Not only is that far from what I ordered, but I absolutely DESPISE mayo! Nasty nasty nasty!!!

Used to be a nice place to eat for your money but lately have been disappointing. Last time I took my family here the made the food sloppy and gave such a small amount of fries and forgot a shake. The girl at the drive thru said will do better next time lol.

Picked up a To-go order Tuesday..burgers were dry, flavor lacking. Fried catfish was delicious. Used to be the best burger in town.. sadly, no longer. (Weve been going here for 10+ yrs.. food not as good as when we started eating from Burger Boy)

Amazing place to eat! If you want a unique delicious place to eat this is it. Get out of the standardized fast food and get back to the fresh made to order burger stop and socialize with people in person instead of through a microphone.

Great food, great prices, great staff!!!. My kind of hole in the wall joint where you feel like family. Id honestly hate it if they got too popular. They even stayed open during hurricane harvey!! My hat goes off to the cooks.

I just moved to Conroe and it was suggested that I try them out. I had the Gyro which was pretty good and my son had a bacon cheeseburger and he just loved it. We will be going back and trying out the rest of the menu.
