While back in our home town, Schertz visiting my folks, they wanted to take us here for lunch. We are really particular about our Chinese food, so we are always weary. But, it was a change from the normal style weve seen. They were playing Christian music and had Christian themed stuff hung on the walls. However, they had live turtles inside, which are known to carry salmonella, so not sure why they are inside the restaurant. I ate the Generals Chows meal with Fried rice and an egg roll with Hot and Sour soup. I enjoyed it. I usually get General Tsos chicken at our favorite local place, but the waiter said it was the same. They were smaller pieces of chicken, but was still good. My wife always gets the beef with broccoli and she didnt care for theirs. One daughter had cashew chicken and she said it was alright. Our youngest got the sweet and sour chicken, and said she didnt like it because it didnt taste like chicken to her. Maybe they are all just spoiled by our favorite place. Our other daughter didnt eat as she has a shellfish allergy, and what she likes they dont cook separate from the shellfish. She likes the sweet and sour chicken as well. My folks enjoyed their meals, both were shrimp kinds. (For which our allergic daughter sat on the opposite side of the table.) Over all though, it was a pleasant experience and I for one, would go back with just my folks if the occasion arose.

This place has the best American and authentic Chinese dishes on (and off) the menu. We drive 45 minutes each way to eat here whenever we can. Service is excellent. Food is piping hot and visibly fresh. Were not the only ones. Ive met other people in other places who know about and frequent Kowloon. If you go at certain times, you can see the banquet room full of people who know Chinese food; even they dine here. Its a hidden treasure. Order anything sizzling on the menu to be mesmerized.

If I wanted fried insects, this would be a great place to go. Yeah, thats right - I had a cockroach fried into the wrapper of my egg roll. When brought to the attention of the server, someone else came to the table (shift leader? owner? no clue) and offered to get me another one, as if TWO egg rolls fried with bugs in the oil would somehow make up for it. Did they comp the meal or even cut the price down? No. Ridiculous. I will never, ever, patronize this establishment again.

Had lunch here, ordered mongolian chicken. Vegies were cut up really thin and the dish had a good size portion. The chicken had some spice or taste - I could not place. The egg drop was great and the service was super excellent. The place was clean and had cool decor. Next time I wana try the spicy vegi dish. Overall a good meal, pretty random to find good chinese in this area.

I get takeout from here all the time their order is always right I dont even check it. The food is always good and fresh Ive never had any issues with quality. By far one of my favorite things about the restaurant are the turtles that are inside. Ive never actually ate inside the restaurant but by far one of my favorite Chinese restaurants here in town. I wish they delivered!

This is by far the worst place to eat. The owner threaten to call the cops on us because we were not pleased with the meals but we offered to pay for the only 2 meals that got half ... so the owner got offended that we dislike the food and got irate with us and threaten to call the cops the owner. Do not eat here your wasting your money there are better places

Sunday school class went to celebrate birthdays in March. Service was slow. Food was warm. Not hot. Nothing had much flavor. I ordered something spicy it was not. A friend paid with a twenty and got change for a ten. Management has it under review, even after my wife witness the twenty as payment. Another friend paid with cash and did not get any change.

Good food. Huge portions. Really nice on the inside. Not too expensive. Has a bar. Ive tried the wonton soup, egg drop, sesame chicken, and lemon chicken. Family has tried sweet and sour chicken, broccoli chicken, General Chows chicken, and Mongolian chicken. Everything has been good. They do have kids meals with fries for picky eaters.

This is the only Chinese Restaurant that i can eat at . I have tried so many different ones and they all are lacking compared to Kowloons. I drive 45 minutes to eat at this Chinese Restaurant. The food is always fresh and very good. My favorite is the sesame chicken amazing. There crabmeat rangoon is fantastic .

I ordered the Hunan chicken tonight. It was awful. It was in a red sauce with veggies. It was cooked properly but the sauce didnt taste good. So I swapped with my husband and ate his Mongolian beef. The sauce tasted good but the beef was chewy. All in all this is NOT a repeat for me. Thumbs down!

Every place people have something bad to say even the best places inthe world have negative feedback but yea this place is good they are fast as hell and THEY WILL CHANGE YOUR PLATE IF YOU DONT LIKE IT so yea its all good if its cold or anything THEY WILL MAKE YOU A NEW PLATE

Im new to the area, so I googled this restaurant and went there. It was the worst Chinese food ever in my life. I dont even think Its even Chinese food(Ive been to Kowloon). Everything tasted horrible. Even my dog refused to eat the food... The staff were nice and friendly.

My wife and son ate the same thing and both have been throwing up all night. They ordered a meal with chicken. I would never go back or recommend this place ever. Their fried rice isnt even fried they just add beef broth to make it look fried.

Ive been here 3 times. The food is always crappy. I gave them a few chances, but the food has been less than great every time. I wouldnt waste your time or money here. Even Panda Express tastes better than this place. : /

Hubby and I LOVE to eat here! Portions are big, the service is awesome! We normally call ahead with our order, but we have eaten in a couple times and it was a pleasant experience too. I would recommend it to anyone.

My wife and I both got the worst food poisoning at Kowloon. It took us 4 days to get over most of the symptoms. Whats worse is that the food wasnt tasty. It was very bland and unappetizing. We will never be back.

The service depends on the waiter / waitress you happen to get. Some are outstanding while others you just get the sense they dont want to be there. Food on the other hand, I havent ever had any complaints
