The Asian Buffet is one of the more recent additions to the Floresville restaurant offerings. Its appropriately intimate, rather than the barn-like atmosphere at some big=city buffets. The selections are fairly standard for buffets, and generally fresh and steaming. Standout dishes include Korean Chicken, Coconut Shrimp and Thai Shrimp. The fried fish is generally high quality and cooked just right. Fresh salads and a selection of deserts, including dip your own ice cream. Dinners for adults about $10 each including drinks. Takeout by weight available. ------------------ Updating nine months later . . . Ive eaten here dozens of times now (several times a month), and stand by my original review. I rated it down one star originally because it is a compact eatery, with somewhat fewer menu items than that big-barn big city buffets. And thats OK, because we have easy access to SE Military restaurants just a few miles further from our home. But the food here is very consistent . . . a big consideration in Asian buffets.

Very pleased. Ive commented before how hesitant I am when it comes to buffets, but I was extremely surprised how great this place was. The restaurant was very clean. The staff was very nice. We were seated promptly and got our drinks. The food was hot and most fresh. We tried a little bit of everything and I was very happy. The crab rangoons were perfect. The mai fun is my absolute favorite and I wanted to try and see if it was good or not and it was. As a matter of fact it was all delicious, even the little desserts. The waitress was giving refills constantly and making sure to clear our table. She was very sweet. Great people. Love it. Will definitely recommend and will definitely be going back.

We moved to the area recently and agreed we would never go there because all Asian buffet restaurants are nasty. A few people strongly recommended Tasty Buffet over all of the other Asian restaurants in town. So, we went. We were so happy to be proven wrong. The food was delicious, there was a good variety of foods to try, the employees were polite and the restaurant was SO clean! There was almost always at least one employee cleaning the buffet area. We will definitely be back.

Good place to eat need to have more things that are Seafood though and would really really do good if they had crab legs. My husband and I are both disabled but we are not over 62 I asked if there was any kind of deal for people that were disabled and she said that they would give us the same discount as somebody 62 or older. That was very nice. They are very polite and kind.

Great chinese for small town Texas. Very clean family friendly family owned american chinese food. I personally love the takeout but the buffet is good too. I love the house fried rice, the house crispy shrimp, the green beans, the lomein, fried dumplings, fried fish and the jalapeño chicken on the buffet is very tasty. My family goes often.

this place was pretty good during their grand opening week but went downhill pretty quickly after that. the floors are ALWAYS filthy and sticky walking up to the buffet line, there isnt a very good selection of food, and most of the trays are empty or full of cold/hard food. dont drink the tea either because it tastes like dirty dishwater.

Pros: Good location, great customer service. Did not expect much at the beginning as it is not very big, but was pleasantly surprised as they had a good amount of variety. The food was fresh and was indeed tasty ;) Cons: none. keep up the good work! *Definitely recommend.

Wonderful service. My husband and I come here and get to go, everytime we deliver in the area. Its always superb. Great atmosphere and the food is absolutely divine. We return everytime. Anyone with a problem with this place simply cant be satisfied with anything.

I have been there 3 times, all three times the "free steak" was boiled and tasted disgusting. All the food is over salted, and wait staff is poor, and rude. I will never return to that restaurant, and they will not get my money again.

We have been dining at The Tasty Buffet since it opened. Lunch and dinner buffets always fresh. Great customer service. Family owned and they make you feel a part of their family. Would recommend to all passers-by.

A very agreeable place to meet for lunch. There are areas for loud sport-watching but much quieter areas as well. They serve generous portions so gals might think of sharing. Delicious salads and wings.
