We went a week ago and service from the bartender was great. Went back again today, and we waited up front for a hostess to show for 5 minutes. Place was not even busy, and when the hostest finally came up her mouth was full of food. Once she sat us, took another 5 minutes for waiter to come. We ordered appitiser which took 20 minutes. Waiter then said he had to leave and the other lady walking around would help. After another 20 minutes and seeing 2 other tables who ordered after us get their food before us i looked for a manager. I finally had to go to the bar and ask for the manager cause nobody ever came back to our table. Once manager finally came out from the back and listened the look on his face was like he really could care less. After afew minutes of chatting with him i said food still has not shown up, and had to ask if he could check the kitchen for us. After 5 more minutes of sitting at the table watching the other 2 tables finish their food we finally just got up and left.

The first time my husband and I went there, it was great! Service was incredible, food was delicious. This time, it was a terrible experience. TERRIBLE. We never got any food at all, even after 45 minutes and a talk with the manager, who we had to hunt down. We got no miso soup. Tables who arrived long after us, in our section no less, were happily eating as we watched. The server then announced another server would be taking care of us because he had to leave. Still no food. No one cared. We are not difficult customers, folks. We have both been servers, and we tip well and understand snafoos. But this was ridiculous. We left because we were hungry. We went to Logans, where I am posting from right now. In the time it took me to write this review, our orders were taken, drinks served, and a salad placed in front of me. If I could give a negative number of stars to Kumori, I would. Listen up, Kumori servers. Youre in the service industry. You could at least pretend to care.

My daughter and I went . We couldnt get drinks . We were brought soup and still no drinks because our waiter had a party of 8 on top of other tables . We got our drinks and orders in but no food . After 15 min of waiting for food we left . I paid for my tea because the hostess told me the soup and water was complementary. But I owed 2.17 for the tea . I left a 5.00. If the hostess instead of just standing there would have refilled drinks at least or served drinks maybe the wait would not have seemed so long . Running a business is a team effort ! Make ur customers happy and they will keep coming back .

Wife and I ordered takeout one evening for a bill around $40. We ordered the Shumai, somewhat disappointing, as we expected more in size. They were okay tasting. The calamari appetizer was cooked and tasted well. The Yaki-Soba beef was filling and the flavor profile there. The Yaki-Soba Mixed with mixed meats and vegetables was also filling. The next day the wife went with coworkers for lunch and had a $20 bottle of wine and ate sushi. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is very pleasing she said and welcoming for business. Recommended thanks for reading and if it helps give a thumbs up. WHDSM

I have been here 3 times now and I have not been disappointed. Their sushi is fresh and delicious. Its a little expensive but for the quality you are getting it is absolutely worth it. They also make their own ice cream! I ordered some spicy edamame, unagi sashimi, sake sashimi (salmon sashimi) and one of their speciality roles. I like that the rice is thin and the pieces are bite sized. Their ice cream machine was down last time but Ive had it before and it is delicious. I do wish they had Mochi ice cream though :)

Humongous rolls accompanied buy great taste. Its always an amazing experience when I come to Kumori. Im the type of guy who usually sticks by his guns and doesnt order anything different. At komori, its a little bit different because I feel comfortable ordering from the very wide variety of sushi rolls and trust that the quality taste and service will be on point. I would highly recommend coming in eating sushi in San Antonio at Kumori

I tried Kumori today for the first time and it was average. I had high expectations from the atmosphere and while I picked up a to go order the service I received while there was very good. Everyone was kind, accommodating and very gracious. I brought my meal home and while it wasnt bad, it wasnt exceptional. I dont think I will be returning. I would not consider the meal I received congruent with the pricing.

This was some of the worst sushi Ive ever had. I never thought Id taste a bland tempura roll. And dont get me started on the disgusting breaded sushi...beef yakimeshi was pretty bland as well. I would go back and try the Teppanyaki since we cant seem to find one as good as Miyabis in N.C. but Im afraid Ill waste valuable resources that I could just eat some consistent Chicfila with...

Great variety! Average sushi prices. 2 servings of sushi and gyoza came to $36 before tip. The Audi was very good. I noticed they had a full bar. The decor was very and had some Japanese design influence. I had the Phoenix Roll, my wife had the Jupiter Roll, I sampled the Rock Shrimp Roll, and the Chiuaua Roll from the rest of my partys orders. All of it was very good.

Ambiance, food, and drink here is excellent. They have a HUGE assortment of sushi rolls to choose from. My only complaint of the sushi rolls is that they are all pretty fancy. There arent enough simple, fresh choices. The "tempura crunch" topping on one of the rolls was quite soggy, and it ruined the roll. Ill keep coming back here to try different rolls though.

It was ok. Its a mainstream sushi restaurant that has a lot of variety but not as good as the real authentic sushi that you really want. Also if youre ok with servers picking up food in front of you all night and dropping it in your water then definitely sit at the bar area. Im not going back for sure. I wouldnt waste my money twice. I wasnt impressed at all.

I ate here and started feeling sick the next day. Then I look at the recent health ratings and they got a C. When I ask them why the health department rated them a C on a Facebook post they deleted my question instead of answering me. EAT HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK! I paid the price with food poisoning. A sushi place is the last place you want a C rating!

Love this place. Been here at least 5 times now, maybe more, their food is aways tasty, service is prompt, prices are fair considering its sushi and has tons of options for rolls. Ive also tried the rice bowls and they are just as delicious. Oh not to mention the complimentary miso soup. Nice touch.

Ordered take out from here tonight. Seriously AMAZING! They were timely, and super helpful. Ive never had sushi before and the hostess who took my order was beyond helpful suggesting which she thoughtold was best. It was overall an awesome experience will definitely go back and highly recommend!
