Having been closed for quite some time, Jalisco Grill finally re-opened this year. However, the fire seems to have been extinguished for both the restaurant and its food. Stopping in for Sunday breakfast, we sat down to the usual basket of chips. The dipping was pleasureable with warm salsas of queso and one of roasted chiles with a slow burn. the coffee was luke warm and the service was a bit preoccup[ied. Decided on an appetizer of bean and cheese nachos while waiting on the taco order. The menu showed a plate of separately topped chips, but what we received was a haphazard pile with scant and strange orange semi-hunky refrieds with a yellow cheese so mild, I wasn;t sure it was cheese. Oh, and the jalapenos delievered in a cup on the side was an extra $.80. Really?! The mostly egg and ___ tacos I ordered were meiocre; tasteless chorizo and sub-quality bacon with more orange beans and tasteless cheese on my bean /cheese /bacon (which I decided to take home). The other tacos of picadillo and guisado were also unusual in flavor and the fact that the guisado sauce had the same strange orange hue as the beans. The meat was tender and plentiful. Flour tortillas were dusty and pliable, but some of the edges had begun to show theirmade hours ago stiffness. A side order of papas was standard except that the quantity certainly did not represent the fact that potatoes are cheap. Not here, however at $2.00 for the side or about $.15 a one inch wedge. Did I say the service was rather unattentive?! The manager(?) was nice enough to remove the (ahem) nachos from our bill explaining that we needed to specify that we wanted the nachos "separados" as in the menu picture to get them that way. O-k-a-y . . . . Hopefully, its just a case of fine tuning the service and the kitchen. Otherwise, as far as eating another meal here, I would rather not.

This place is horrible. Have gave this place too many tries and never was satisfied. Once they took 35 min to get me chicken enchiladas then I find a hair in it so I decide to leave and they expect me to pay for the drinks I got while I waited and for my partners meal that he got 15 min before mine. A second go around I get their they take the usual for food to get their and then they give me my food half of the items are missing and they tell me we can give you store bought tortilllas, ok ill take them I guess they were dry and tough. Then I notice they have no rice on my plate I ask and the waiter says oh we havr no rice "but thats ok" the waiter says. no its not okay!!! The waiter could of told me before she gave me my plate. They charged me full price and also they added a tip. To top it off the girls restroom was dirty and clogged the watet was to the toilet seat and nothing was done about it when addressed by several people. Bad place dont go. Ricos is right down the road and better service

I wanted to like this place. After seeing cars always in the parking lot when I drove past, I thought the food must be good. I was sorely disappointed in the both the food and the service. Here are some bullet points about my experience here: - They forgot to bring out salsa with the chips - I never did receive any salsa after asking. Twice. - It took 15 minutes to get my drink order taken. That was one of the two total times I ever saw the waitress. - Even after asking my waitress for tortillas on both occasions, it was only until I complained to a separate employee that I received them from that employee. - The tortillas were near-cold, dry as a desert, and tasteless - My food was lukewarm at best, and very bland. The rice was absolutely terrible. Yelp lists over 917 places in this city to get mexican food. El Jaliscos did absolutely nothing to warrant me trying it again - take your money somewhere else, youll be glad you did.

im not gonna lie, the only thing that was good was their rice water "horchata" they messed my order up, when i went back they were extremely rude like it was my fault, they didnt want to replace my food. yes i have been there more than once because they are very close to me, i like the horchata, there tacos are not good and too expensive and too expensive to add sides like avo n sour creme. i stopped goin there because, i swear they have messed my order up soooooo many times, el pollo loco is waay better. i cant find a decnt mexican resturant with burritos n tacos. they are also very dirty, they do have flies sworming there place i noticed going inside and the flies are inside as well. just plain nasty. i hope this review helps.

Ordered Barbacoa plate. Meat was very dry and fatty and very chewy with almost no flavor to it at all and on top of that the tortillas that came with the meal were all hard and not fresh so we asked for fresh ones and they were hard to. We complained to the manager and she said well we will take the tortillas off the bill. What? They were gonna charge us for the replacement of fresh tortillas. Bad food, and bad service. Waitress was also very rude and acted like she didnt know what she was doing. Will never go here again.

Went specifically for the special today which was $3.99 for 3 of the same breakfast tacos. My fiancé got 1 potato and egg and 1 bacon and egg. I got 2 potato and egg. When I went to pay the cashier charged me 2.50 each when I clearly got 3 of the same tacos. She then began to argue I got charged full price because I didnt order them on the same plate. What kind of customer service is this? We were regular customers until today.

This place is one of the worst taquerias i have been to. The appetizer salsa is no good. The tacos de trompo taste nothing like they are suppose to. If you do not know how cook an authentic mexican dish DONT SERVE IT!! Tosatada taste bad. Caldo is salty and with all this random spices. The shrimp cocktail taste like shrimp in tomato juice. WORST PLACE ..DO NOT GO

Food was not fresh and pretty horrible. Very poor service. Majority of staff stood behind counter chatting instead of taking care of customers.I had to go up to the counter after I had asked a waiter and a busboy for the bill. Even then I had to wsit cause the cashier was too busy texting on the phone. Wont ever eat there again.
