The recent review by Melvin McCoy is incorrect and unfair and needs to be retracted. Having visited Saritas on Fredericksburg Rd several times since their recent opening, I just knew something was not right about this. I have known the two owners from when they worked at other restaurants, and the man making the comments referred to in the review was not the owner but had been hired as a manager. I visited with the two Hispanic young ladies who are the owners, and they told me this man was dismissed recently for another matter. These two ladies are not at all racist but hard-working young women who are seeing their dream fulfilled by owning their own restaurants. They are making every effort to please their customers. Asking people to bypass this restaurant because of a completely false inference by a customer is just not right and needs to be corrected. Saritas is a family restaurant with excellent menu choices at reasonable prices and a responsive wait staff. Please come to enjoy all of that and leave your politics at the door.

The wait staff and the cooks are great , the impression the owner left on me was very distasteful, I sat next to the owner who talked about trump and how he plans to use Mexico trade embargo to fund this wall fooling them (Mexicans) with out them knowing the blacks never built anything of their own. And yet your business and menu is all Mexican so when he asked me how do I like it, "it sucks" I gave him a ear full of my opinions and if you know me you would know I love tacos but I hate a racist so if youre in San Antonio by pass Saritas on 8224 Fredrickburg rd. just pass datapoint There is great smaller establish just down the road. That would appreciate your business!!!! Dont disrespect the culture and try and profit off the community....

We have been in twice. The food is great and the service is the best. I am so happy they are so close to us. My husband and I decided to stop by for Happy Hour this Saturday. Fhil The bartender made my cucumber martini just the way I like it, he was very knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable. The manager Jolie was very friendly and helpful. We will be back. Oh the best part the price is right...

As soon as we stepped foot into the restaurant we were welcomed with open arms and were seated at the very clean bar. The vibe of the entire restaurant was amazing, especially with the spurs game playing on 16 enormous TVs. Bar service was great and the drinks were even better. Overall the service of the restaurant was fantastic. One of the best Mexican restaurants that is here in town.

I had the stuff chicken.. it is the best stuff chicken Ive ever had. So much flavor you literally will love every bite. Chips and salsa are also delicious. My boyfriend had the carne asada and it was cook just right.. tender and juicy.. and there is usually no wait. All and all I was satisfied with the whole experience and would recommend this place to anyone.

Saritas Mexican restaurant was the best. We had their chicken poblano, their kids enchilada, and a taco plate. Everything was outstanding, the chips were hot and the salsa was amazing. Our server Pablo was the nicest Ive had in a long time. Thank you so much for being so friendly.

First time here and its a wonderful place nice atmosphere, servers are friendly, great cocktails and food☺Tamaringo cocktail was awsome... Fideo w/ carne quisada and beans is what I had and omg its was like eating at grandmas ..I would recommend this place to anyone

First time at this place. Food was great, prices are good. I only spent 10 bucks for chicken enchiladas and a sweet tea. Chips and salsa on the house. Food came out in a timely matter. Waiter was attentive. Lots of scrubs. Overall good place.

Waited exactly 51 minutes after placing my to go order for 3 enchiladas plates before I received my food. The enchiladas tasted OK, nothing fantastic. Would have given 4 stars if not for the wait.
