We went to this restaurant over a weekend and we were seated on a very uncomfortable booth; we asked to change to a table and the server grudgingly agreed. That wasnt a good start. He took our order and came back with one wrong order. I asked about the order and he mumbled, "...its the way we make it" we never saw him again (not even to see if we needed refills or if the food was okay) until he brought the check. I spoke with manager about the service experience. And he listened, but didnt promise to correct the servers behavior. I think this restaurant has a very well established clientele that they dont care if they lose a customer. The food was the average TexMex style that we can find anywhere in the metro area. We will not return, nor will we recommend...

This restaurant seems like a hole in the wall, but it is one of the best Mexican restaurants Ive tried in the North Dallas area. The food is excellent, the staff is great, the menu has a lot of variety, including good seafood choices and delicious traditional desserts. I dont recommend getting take-out or delivery. Weve tried 4 or 5 times and only once have they gotten our order even close to correct.

Was my late BILs favorite mexican restaurant, so I decided to give it a try. The food was very good, so on the next trip to Dos Charros, I tried the buffet. Wow! Everything was great! Had no complaints about the service, and again, the food was great! If I lived in the neighborhood, Id be there every week. Yummo!

My new favorite Mexican food place! Sunday buffet was amazing. $11 isnt cheap but all you can eat and there was four kinds of enchiladas, sopapias, tacos, chilerellanos, choc. mousse, and flan! Plus, the kids ate hapf price. four of us got out for $40 with tip. Not bad. I thought it was very good.

Ive been here many times, and their service is always fast and accurate. My girlfriend and I were in the mood for a quick dinner once, and spent a total of 30 minutes there -- from the time we opened the front door to leaving the restaurant. So if youre looking for speedy service, this is your place.

This is a family favorite. The food is great, despite what you may think when you see the phrase "tex-mex". I love the chips and salsa - every other place I have been has not compared to the quality of food here. My personal favorite is the bean burrito.

One of the best neighborhood restaurants in Richardson. Good food, good service, friendly staff. We have eaten here many time and have never had anything that was not delicious or had any problems at all. Love Dos Charros!

Had tamales, quesadillas, and ribeye tacos. Everything was better than expected. We frequent Marianos and a few other dallas staples, and this place held its own. Service was above par, too.

Worst Tex-mex food this side of the rio grande! Ornery staff acts irritated when they screw up your order. Food tastes like it was cooked in a dirty mop bucket. Even their chips taste burned!
