Food: They offer what youd expect from a Mexican restaurant. I always get the beef tacos and I love them. The chips and salsa are very good too. Price: I usually get 4 tacos a soda and a side and never spend more than $10. Very inexpensive and very tasty! Atmosphere: Plenty of seating, great place to go for lunch. They have high chairs as well. Staff: Very friendly and very helpful. I was practicing the Spanish Im learning and they were quite patient with me. Overall: This place rocks, Id definitely recommend it if youre ever in the mood for some cheap and authentic tacos! I go here all the time!

I had the huevos rancheros and they were pretty good..! My wife had the posole and it was good as well, only thing was that it was salty. The kids had a barbacoa tacos and it was delicious..! First time here and will be coming back soon..! Oh and the salsa wasnt very good though but itll do..! Service was awesome..! Only thing I would like is homemade tortillas, but cant get everything in one location..! Family of four and we paid $27..!

I had a 3 enchilada combo plate and a couple hard tacos what they refer to as the kids tacos. All great ! More like cali or utah style taqueria food. I was told they came from Santa Ana and you can taste the difference. Best taqueria food i have ever had in Tx which has very boring and bland tx mex fare. Could be hotter but otherwise great !! Very clean. And really nice home style chips and salsa

This evening was the first time that we have eaten here. We chose to eat here primarily because of the great reviews on here and on yelp. Boy am I glad we did!!!! We have lived all over TX.......this is by far the best Mexican food I have eaten. Its a tiny little ma and pop joint with great service! Starting sept 1 they are suppose to have their liquor license for happy hour!!!! We will definitely be back!

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Mexican food is my favorite and theyre so good, I literally saved their number in my phone. The food is extremely affordable yet amazing. By far the best Mexican food Ive had. I wish I had discovered Taquería Zavala sooner. I am so grateful to live so close.

This is my favorite taco place. Its affordable and the staff are always great. I was running late one night and they stayed open an extra 20 minutes so I could pick up my order. Love love love this place.

Best place in town for Mexican food. Tried different plates and have yet to be disappointed. Staff is very attentive and nice. Prices cant be beat and portions are large. Must try the Carne Asada Fries.
