I absolutely love this place as I am a regular customer who comes and enjoys beer at least 3-4 times a week... I know most of the servers and bartenders, but as I was enjoying my tower of beer, I had a supposed guy approach me cussing me out using "f-bombs," saying I cant smoke a cigarette. Not only did he disrespect me and my friend but cussed me out and was saying there was a roach on his shoulder... Derek, the guy whom supposedly "works" here and his drunk girl were causing problems and got in m face being very disrespectful,,, they were only here for 15 minutes and decided to leave after they caused drama... needless to say, Im still here enjoying my second beer.... so Derek is not a good server or whatever he was...

I have no idea what happened with this place, but it completely changed ! Dirty place! Im looking around in this place and can only imagine how dirty can be the kitchen! We used to go at this place every week. I went there yesterday after I was out of town for six months and I was super disappointed! We went recently at the place in up town and it looks and tastes so good! So... I guess its just a bad management at the place in Plano. So sad... dont like when favorite places are falling down... This place needs a good cleaning!

Worst burger I have had in years. Ordered a Cheddar burger that has the champagne mustard on it. To my surprise champagne mustard is MAYO! How dumb do you have to be to call something mustard that is mayonnaise. I have had other champagne mustard before and they never had mayo in them. I asked the bartender and he said thats what it was. They did fix it, well they replaced the bun. But the burger was still awful. It had a dried up tiny paddy with no flavor. Yuck! Most fast food burgers are better

New to the area and wanted to try it. Just finished lunch and I had the worst turkey burger Ive ever had in my life. I really dont complain but this was so bad I had to say something. Ordered it with a fried egg and they put it on my friends burger and ordered a double sweet potato fry to share with my fiancé and they gave the double order to my other friend with regular fries. I wouldnt recommend this place. The only reason I didnt give it one star is bc of the sweet potato fries.

Burger was really good! French fries were dissappointing though. Menu pricing was good overall. The layout of the restaurant is a little odd when you first walk in. Staff is extremely rude. Would not recommend this place due to the staffs extremely poor attitude. Will be trying Smashburger instead the next Im craving a burger. Maybe the burger will be just as good if not better....and with better customer service!

Suburban outpost of a great burger chain. Great burgers and sandwiches, great prices, fast service, cold beers and good atmosphere. Very popular with hipster and young professional crowd. Usually extremely busy and packed on weekends, especially evenings. Location is very small and can be quite uncomfortable, loud and hot when its busy, otherwise a great place.

Good location. Not much ambiance thats specific to a burger joint. Very clean, a little slow to receive order (we were the only customers at an off-time). Fries were very average. Burgers were a little dry, and nothing spectacular. We were debating trying this place, or go to Fuddruckers. I prefer Fuddruckers or Gazebo Burger MUCH better than this place.

I first experienced The Counter in Hawaii, then when we came back to Dallas I had to have more, so I took my husband there on a rare kidless date. The custom burgers are fantastic and I cant get enough of their sweet potato fries with special sauce. Im glad they arent closer to my house, or I might be tempted to weigh a lot more than I do!

This place came highly recommended by a friend so I was excited to try. I thought the burger was OK. Sweet potato fries with honey cinnamon were fantastic! The place was very crowded on a Friday night and it was unbearably loud. The place is small making it hard to eat comfortably.

Grilled burger built to your taste, in my opinion one of the best tasting burger places, has decent selection of beer to go along with the burger. There are non beef options as well but have never tried them. The fries are also truly shoe string fries which I do love.

The good: You customize your burger to get it however you want. The bad: -Pricey (burger, fries and drink is around $13) -The meat isnt great. It tastes very compacted so its almost tough. -I personally dont care for shoe-string fries and thats what you get here

Their Haburger is soooo tasty, you cant stop eating it... This pic is for plain hamburger since my daughters prefer it clean ... I took the hamburger with a salad and it is one of the top burger I ate, and the price is very low compare to what you get.

Amazing build-your-own burgers! The best burger Ive had in a long time. All sorts of toppings to make delicious combinations. Surrounded by expensive restaurants, this is a much more reasonably-priced option. Build-your-own burgers starting at $5.75.

Nothing special though I wish it were. In a half dozen visits, they are batting .000 in getting the order completely right. This may sound like nitpicking, but I would have expected at least one in six. 3 of 6 were during busy hours, 3 not.

Small place big flavor - they have a hole in the wall sized restaurant but a good selection of burgers including some tasty turkey and veggie burgers. Lunch and dinner can get crowded fast but its generally worth the wait.

Terrible service!!!!! I only stayed to eat cause I had already paid. After they lied about showing a game. Average food. Dirty tables. Servers were rude. Do yourself a favor and find another Village Burger location!!!

Found this place to be ok. The burger was nothing special...I had better. The service was ok too. I guess they do bar service, so I had to get up if I needed something (order, refills, pay your bill, etc...).

A good burger, quality ingredients. Burgers sauce is intriguing. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff, but busy. Worth the visit if hungry and want something only slightly better than Twisted Root nearby.

Good burgers and sweet potato fries. Did not like being packed in like sardines. People behind us so close none of us could move without everyone having to get up. Fire hazard and uncomfortable.

One of my favorite spots for happy hour. Drink specials are very hard to beat, especially the frozen cocktails, which are my favorite :-). Reasonably priced food as well, love the truffle fries!
