Great experience. Went to Country Burger when I worked at Safeway when I was 16 years old. Safeway was my 1st job other than mowing lawns, and selling Tyler roses on Richardsons street corners. I would get two quadruple burgers at Country Burger for lunch. Country Burger at that time bought Safeway meat for their burgers. I never gained any weight from eating all that since I pushed shopping carts, racked soda bottles(before aluminum cans and toxic plastic bottles) sacked grocerys, and stocked shelves. Country Burger has always had high quality food. I met the current owner at their Murphy location, Shes the daughter of the original owner. I met the original owner back in the day where they home baked pies for their stores. Country Burger is a family owned business that deserves a first look if you plan on eating out. Oh yeah, and dont forget to try their sweet potato fries. Try them out, and you will coming back from now on. See you their.

Im sitting in the Murphy Texas country burger now. First of all, how did a burger,a chicken sandwich and fries come to right at $20????? Secondly, I open the chicken sandwich because I didnt see chicken on there at all but out WAS there, only it was about as thin as a piece of lunch meat, like they took the breast and cut it in half!!!! When my husband saw this without taking a bit of anything he took it back and let them know that that was unacceptable and to either fix it or hed take a burger instead. The employee said, its not MY fault you didnt like it and proceeded to CHARGE for another burger.... he asked for a refund instead and asked for the managers name and number and a card was tossed on the counter by another employee. The time is now 3:17 on Wednesday 8/24 so whatever employees were on schedule at that time are the most inhospitable employees Ive run into in a long time.

The size is good, a bit bigger than a Whataburgers. The vegetables are fresh but one slice of tomato is not enough. And if you get it to go make sure to get napkins because there are not in the bag. This is a great place to get a classic burger and some Texas fries.
