Terrible customer service! I contacted Paolo via Cavallis website to inquire about having a dinner party at the Adriatica restaurant. It took him about 4 days to even respond. He then told me they could accommodate a party of 20 (on a weeknight) however we would have to all order $20 worth of food per person, NOT including drinks/alcohol. I tried to negotiate with him to no avail. We went back and forth, He took a week to respond and told me he MIGHT be able to have a CHEESY buffet for around $18.00 per person, but would have to see and get back to me. He was terrible to work with. I told him that we would have been better off showing up and ordering off the menu, as their entrees average $10 per person. He never bothered to reply. He was completely trying to rip me off. We used to eat there about 3 times a month. We will never go back there and give them business. I am telling all our friends about Cavallis lack of customer service. The food is good but not any better than the gourmet pizza over at Zin Zen Wine Bistro in Adriatica.

Well Im not sure what other people look for when they go out for pizza, but my wife and I look for crust. Pizza is all about the crust. After that it is the quality of the minimal toppings you put on the pizza. If you are looking for a Dominos double cheese, double sauce, 3x pepperoni this is not the place for you. If you, on the other hand are looking for some of the best authentic italian pizza that you can get in the Metroplex, then this is one of two places that has it. The crust was perfect, made from 00 flour, aged for days, cooked for 90 seconds, with San Marzano tomatos, a fresh mozarella. What more can I say. The pizza passes the flop test with ease, unlike another vpn place in deep ellum where the even minimalistic toppings end up on the plate. I cant say enough about this place. If you want the real thing, this is the place to go. If you are looking for something other than great pizza, leave the place for me.

My husband and I went there for lunch today for the first time and we were very disappointed. They were not busy and we were seated right away but it took them over 30 minutes to bring us our food after we ordered. After asking repeatedly for a drink refill my husband finally gave up and just had a drink of my water to wash down his food. It seemed as though all of the wait staff were too busy mingling and texting with another employee who was seated at a table dining with their family. I also felt like for the quality of the food it was incredibly overpriced because it didnt taste that great to us. Maybe we just had a bad experience because I noticed all of the great reviews they received but we will definitely not be going back or recommending this place to any of our friends.

I have been on a gluten free/reduced diet for several years. But, when I heard about the purity of the flour used to make Cavallis Pizza, I decided to try an experiment: I shared a small pizza with a friend and had NO adverse reactions to indulging in some delicious pizza. Im not suggesting that everyone with a gluten issue be so bold, but I believe that it isnt the gluten that causes me to feel terrible, but the additives, processing, and GMOs in most flour. Cavallis will be my personal oasis when I have a craving for pizza. Thanks for taking such care in the quality of your ingredients.

Its very good most of the time. And compared with what is around McKinney makes it probably the place to go to in McKinney. Its clean and the ingredients are fresh. My only complaint is the seasonal menu. You get a favorite item that you order all the time, and then its gone. Once the vegetable is in season, they dont bring that item back. I really wish theyd quit tinkering with the menu. But for a margarita pizza, this is the place to go! Just dont get attached to an appetizer, or a sandwich, you may never taste it again ! Other than that I like this place. :-)

This is a nice Italian restaurant. Unfortunately, when I went there I was double charged on my debit card. I called the manager the next day and he told me he couldnt do anything about it until the first of the month and that I had to call him because he wouldnt remember it. We were leaving town for 6 weeks and I told him I could not call him. Never got my money back. Shame, because I liked the food, but there is no reason why he could not have been more accommodating.

Place has gone downhill. Ordered a pizza, after 45 minutes they realized they never placed the order. Over half the tables were empty, the other half with people in them, only two had food served. I asked for the manager, I was told the manager had left for the night. No one was in charge. There were two people working in the kitchen and 4 other cracking jokes. Very sad, as this used to be a nice place to go in McKinney, not any more.

Been looking for a pizzeria in Dallas that is doing authentic napoletana style pizza and this is the one. Tried the margherita plus (same as regular but with bufalo mozzarella) and can say its probably the best slice Ive had in dallas. (Need to check out cane Rosso though) the major stand out was the attention to the cornicione. The crust was not too soft and not too crisp, definitely a place to frequent if you want authentic Napoli pizza.

Finding good eats in McKinney can be tricky at times. But this place is certainly a gem. Great service, original menu, what more could you want? Its not your traditional pizza place by any means, and the brick oven is a nice touch. Just be mindful that they take their time making your pizza, as they can get rushed occasionally. All and all I would definitely recommend this place to any pizza fan or if youre craving authentic Italian food.

I dont understand why people would place this restaurant with a one star, I understand mishaps but youre judging the food too. My experience was wonderful and I was also served at the bar, which she was lovely and knew her menu very well, (as did the other waiter or waitresses that I spoke to). Also they were friendly and always had a smile on their face. I will definitely be coming back again !

Dfws top 3 pizza/italian restaurant hidden in Mckinney TX . They serve much more than pizza ..including tapas & a unique entree menu. But its the wood oven pizza thats the superstar, impossibly thin crust , mozzarella made in house, pizza that cooks in 90 seconds in a 900 degree oven, super fresh toppings. I dare you to find wood oven pizza better than this...

Charged my card 60.08 and that was for a another table. They said they will void it out. Got a void slip. Well 3 days later its still on my account has a posted transaction. Went up there today and they said they have to call there bank. This is stupid. Reporting them to Wells Fargo as a fraud tomorrow. Do not go here. Food is not worth the price
