What a wonderful place to step outside the valley and experience a true taste of India. Authentic and delicious, this place does not disappoint. Everything we tried was perfect. I am not sure how they do it, but all of their meats are incredibly tender, even the chicken breast. A must go to place...I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Its great to find good Indian food here in McAllen. The food always tastes fresh, the selection in the buffet is always different, the flavor of each dish is pretty incredible, and the service is always excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family! Oh and the Naan is always brought to you warm and fresh!

I enjoyed their food..chicken tikka, korma, mango lassie the dahl is delicious the raitta overall all is excellent. .just the older man behind the counter can smile to customers he is so cold and looks mad all the time. Remember they are a reflection of their business.

Great taste and very kind service by the owners, not really by the waitress. Food is great!! Unfortunately there are only 8 dish to choose beside the salads bar and drinks are expensive. $35 (including tips) by 2-persons meal

My husband and I love Indian food and were happy to find taste of india after moving to this area. Highly recommend to anyone that is looking to try something new or that has been missing their favorite indian dishes. :)

really good Indian food! I had the lunch buffet and everything was far better than you would expect a buffet to be. definitely upgrade to the garlic naan it is great!

I have eaten at every Indian Restaurant in Texas and by far none can compare to the value and quality of Taste of India. McAllen is really blessed with this jewel!
