Brisket was great, ribs good, sauce excellent, side items sucked cause they only had corn and cole slaw. Service was absolutey horrible. They claimed fryer was down and credit card machine not working. The 4 people working there were more interested in leaving than making cash. I have worked 10 years as a server and TIP 25-30% all the time. Not this time. Wont be back. And the fact that not one other person was there suggests most wont be back either. If you enjoy this establishment, check it out before they get closed down for not making any money.

Food is delicious, service is more than ok, but Jesus Christ.. everytime I go in there I want to sneeze. They really need to clean up the place. I know its a BBQ place but it looks like it hasnt been swept in years. It really needs some cleaning up. If the floors, tables, chairs, booths, are THAT dusty, I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like

I have used Lone Star for years for work site catering. Sometimes in pretty remote spots. They always deliver as promised with no one leaving hungry! Cobler and home-made vanilla ice cream are a certain crowd -pleaser. Sides are "only" OK, which is why they get 4 rather than 5 stars. But I still recommend them for catering.

We enjoyed our after church lunch with the family there. We all love the amazing delicious food,home made brew ice tea and the service was friendly. The price is very fair and the place was very clean. We cant wait to return next Sunday. Two thumbs up! Just a little disappointed that they dont have a web site with a menu.

GROSS-GROSS-GROSS!!! I placed an order to go on July 11, 2014 . . . sausage was cold/undercooked; coleslaw was too sweet; potato salad OK. Waitress/cashier . . . was rude (gee, what a surprise!) . . . DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

The lean brisket sandwiches are great, served on a very tasty bun. We love the charo beans, none better in the whole valley. Prices are very good too.
