很好吃哦! 快來試試 おいしい! ! ! thm ngon! Aroy di (thai) A friend from Texas recommended us to try Texas brisket while visiting, found BBQLife on Yelp which has got good ratings, decided to give it a try despite its a little bit far from the main "tourist" area and its no mistake at all. Thumbs up. Its a casual-looking shop with parking surrounding a small single floor building (next to a transmission shop - we missed the drive-in entrance at the beginning). We were new to the area, but staff and other customers are all very friendly and patience. We ordered brisket and bbq ribs, their brisket is thinly cut, very tender and tasty, not salty and almost immediately melt in your mouth, BBQ ribs is tasty but not as good as their briskets. After this visit, weve tried Ruxys and other chain-restaurants for texas briskets and still agree BBQLife is much better. Will definitely visit BBQLife again when we next visit San Antonio.

I am one who can eat bbq from the time I get up till the time I lay down. I have to say that the bbq brisket was so tender and could taste the mesquite wood flavor had my mouth bursting in happiness. My husband had the sausage and he never gives props but did on the Lockhart sausage sandwich. The cashier was super sweet and honest when asked on her choice of sausage. Honesty is a huge plus for us being that we are both in the restaurant industry and can tell fake from pure in a second. The expo that brought our food out was so sweet and as we left the gentleman that I believe manged or owned the place asked us if we enjoyed it and welcomed us to come back. We will definitely be back.... Its a little hidden but use your nose cause the bbq but is smoking away in the back!!!. Awesome is all I have to say

We have been coming to Eds smokin Q for over 10years now this location is owned by Chris is his son(BBQ for Life)now. The Brisket is like no other and falls apart with seasoned edges. We have tried many bbq places for brisket and this is by far the best brisket in town. Small Jewel on the East side of town. Youll see all kinds of city workers, fire dept, police officers that come here to pick up and go because place is small but the taste is so worth it. I wish they had more sides but I would travel far any day just for the brisket. If Chris is closed we just go right down the street to his Dads Eds Smokin Q with the same Great taste. Blacks, 2bros and B&B just to name a few have nothing on this brisket. I have requested if they can offer cream corn that would be awesome.

We have been going to Eds for over 10yrs. My family traveled across town to get the best Brisket that falls apart. Its not a fast food so you may wait 20mins but its worth it. Ed and his family have always been so sweet. Even my 10yr old daughter wrote a paper at school on how this is her favorite place to eat bbq. We have tried Blacks, 2 bros and various BBQ but this place has awesome taste and season. We even love the edges...Give it a try you wont regret the drive.. its a small place but we love to even stay to eat. They make you feel so welcome and Ed is also a Veteran. People of all walks of life come near and far to this place. Thanks Ed for always making the Galvan family feel welcome. April E

I havent personally been there but lunch was bought for me at this place. I was brought the brisket sandwich and from what I tasted, it was too salty. I never tasted BBQ like this, it was not to my liking. I guess Im used to Mr. Js BBQ on 1624 South New Braunfels. now that place is very well known for its great flavor and value. I dont think Ill ever be going back to this place.......also if you can spot and find him on the East side streets, Pats BBQ truck is also a great value, a lotta bang foe your buck! Pat usually posts up his truck at the corner of New Braunfels & Houston in the mini mall parking lot. thats if your lucky enough to catch him, but if you do consider yourself lucky!

I travel quite a bit for my work. For my taste - the Brisket is simply the best Ive ever had around the US (and that includes TN and NC). Its the one time where the sauce adds just the right amount to the meat and doesnt hide the taste. I try to make at least one trip here every time Im in town. I always get Brisket but last time i sampled a few. There was some spice to the turkey that I didnt prefer but it was still good. Pulled Pork was done very well. And sampled the ribs which were very tasty. Dont know what he does, but hope it NEVER changes because Ed has it done just right. Never judge it by the outside because its all great meat inside.

Absolutely great bbq at very reasonable prices. Knew it would be good when I got out of the truck and smelled the smoke from the huge smoker out back. I had the 2-meat plate with brisket and the leg quarter. The brisket had a nice fat layer and was very tender and smoky. The chicken was soooo juicy and flavorful. My friends had the ribs and told me I was missing out, so I got a half pound to go. They were fall-off-the-bone amazing! I have eaten at dozens of bbq joints in south central Texas, and this one ranks in my top 5. Great staff, incredible food--put it on your bbq bucket list!

Went here after seeing the bit put on by Kens5 this morning. I enjoyed the BBQ but ribs were too sweet, the meat was tender and I would not say anything but it was just too sweet. Potato salad was good just had. Taste I did not agree with. The baked beans were great, the prices were right on, service was quick. My kudos to the chef, the portions were larger than expected, especially meats. The sausage (had 2 meat plate) was two links and were spicy to perfection. Had to save one (could not finish it). Please go, good tender fall of the bone delicious.

I love the food brisket is amazing as well as the potato salad. If you are looking for top notch bbq this place is definitely a must try. The service on the other hand could be better. On Sundays the wait can get long, and one would think calling in an order would be the best bet. But the last two times there we arrived before our food was ready. On both occasions they forgot to let us know when it was finally ready so we ended up waiting longer then customers who just showed up and ordered.
